Title: EARTHBOUND 1 SOUTHWICK 2
Post by: PK on March 15, 2002, 08:04:01 PM
Hi TV,Tj,Fred,Mr C5,Klaus and anyone else I've forgotten.
Looks like I'm first on the (official!) T.U.T.S. Forum, Sorry Tj !

As it looks like Glastonwick will be the only TV gig for a long while I've decided I'm going to make the most of it ! So I'm going to make it my mission to try and get as many TV fans down to the south coast as I possibly can. Its about time the English fans made an effort to support what little non-manufactured talent is still out there after the record companies have done their best to stuff mediocre pop crap down our throats. No wonder TV plays so little over here !!
Get of your fat backsides and get down to the South coast !!!

I'm taking a week of work and if anyone in the South of England can't get there then just e-mail me and if your not living in the middle of nowhere (ie:Cornwall),and I can get to you then I'll pick you up take you there myself,NO CHARGE !!
(Oh and I will take you back,of course)
Be warned TV fans I may be e-mailing you to enlist your support,so save youself the harassment and get to the gig.

What more can I say !!  Don't miss this one a TV played his longest set ever on the last visit to Southwick, you would be mad to miss it.

See you there, PK

:D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Great idea PK,

Is Clifford (in between Leeds and York) too far?

It's funny I was thinking about TV having a great London gig (like he used to do in the 90's) where all the TUTS could attend. Maybe he could even play the piano again. Or invite Richard Strange and Colin Stoner along as part special guests (sorry I'm just exploring madness again.)

As this is a festival does Mr TV have any idea how long he is going to be on (I cant quite see Southwick 40 happening?)

Title: SOUTHWICK CHAUFFEUR
Post by: PK on March 17, 2002, 10:57:20 AM
Glad your with me TJ,

Seriously considering hiring a mini bus or people carrier and kidnapping as many unsuspecting old punk fans from my area to take to Southwick.
He He He!!

Clifford,is that a place or a name  :?:
Might be a bit to far but at least it is'nt Cornwall :!:
Looks like all the main posters on the old site are going to make the effort to get down to Southwick.Must have been my threat of harassing them by e-mail   Might still have jog some people's memories ie: Mr C5 (not seen any posts from him ?)
Any how have booked the time of in June so roll on the month's to the best gig of the summer.

Speak to you soon PK
Title: Anyone OUT There ?
Post by: PK on March 17, 2002, 11:39:16 PM
Hi TJ,Klaus,Alan,Fred & MRC5,

I know this IS the new forum but where is everyone  :!:  :!:  :!:
From the looks of it 90% of postings on the old site were done by just 6 people  :!: Looks like its just going to be the same people on this forum  :!:
I know I wasnt the most prolific poster on the old site (having just got into it about a month ago) but there seems to be lots of people reading the messages but not saying anything. :x  :x
How the hell am I going to give anyone a lift to Southwick if you dont bloody well talk to me.
Come all you T.U.T.S. out there I was'nt bluffing,I will track you down and drag your sorry butts to Southwick for a well deserved ear bashing of the best kind.
Mad but not Sad     PK
Title: Driver Or Passenger
Post by: Klaus on March 18, 2002, 10:25:40 AM
Hi PK,

I used to be an observer in disussion forums for a long time, too.
But once I started posting, I found out, it's more satisfying that way.
If you look at the view-counts, it's interesting, how many people must
be reading this.

Title: I'M DRIVING !
Post by: PK on March 18, 2002, 12:43:25 PM
Hi Klaus,

Know what you mean  8O
45 people have viewed this topic in just a few days
However only TJ has responded & offered encouragement.

Is it human nature,do you think,to just observe and not get involved or is that just an "ENGLISH" thing.
As you can probally guess I've been trying really hard in the last few days to get some kind of real support going for T.U.T.S. but you would think TV has only a handful of fans and a couple of hundred bystanders in the UK  :!:

Oh,Oh  :!: I'm having a big of a dig. Do you think I'll get a response now  :?:
Would'nt count on it  :x  :x  :x    PK
Title: Mostly Passengers
Post by: Klaus on March 18, 2002, 12:57:08 PM
Hi PK,

I am sure this is a general problem. Germany, England it's all the same.
People tend to be more and more passive.
They struggle with their own lives a lot and don't want to
deal with the problems of the rest of the world.
Ironically it has always been one of TV's strongest intentions,
to get people become active again and think about what's going on and
happening with all of us.
Just to name two songs: "Driver Of Passenger", "Roll Like A River"
The passiveness starts in a forum and ends somewhere out there where shit's going on.

Title: IM STILL DRIVING,WATCH OUT !
Post by: PK on March 18, 2002, 01:37:37 PM
Hi Klaus,

Back again, you could never tell I work on a computer all day, could you  :!:
Unlike you and TJ I'm not very good at quoting lines from TV's songs but deep down in the dark recesses of my brain TV must have touched something with his songs.

I know they say that if you shout loud enough & long enough then people will think your telling the truth, just look at how the media manipulate everyone. However you cannot deny the truth in TV's songs if your honest enough to listen.
If nothing else happens at least he opened my eyes to possibilities.

Post by: Klaus on March 18, 2002, 02:59:37 PM
Hi PK,

I am glad to tell, that today is an exception, as I am sitting the whole day in front of my computer at work.
Usually I am driving around and in between I am sitting at other people's computers.

But so I found out another (dis)advantage of the new forum.
It really keeps me coming back permanently.
With the old one there would never have been so many messages posted.
It's just fun to log in from time to time and see, if some forum symbol changed it's colour and there's something new waiting to be read.

Also it's great to have different discussions going on and keep them alive independent from each other although you are interacting with the same people.

Post by: PK on March 18, 2002, 04:19:22 PM
Hi Klaus,

Know what you mean. This IS addictive  :!:  :!:
I've been back on the site at least five times today.

There's still a lot of people looking and not leaving messages though !
This topic is now the most read with 60 at last count. How strange  8O

This conversation must be interesting someone then  :?:  8O

Also as TJ says these Emoticons are damn annoying but compulsive  :!:    :x      8)  :?  :D  :)  :o

Title: T.U.T.S. EXPLAINED
Post by: PK on March 20, 2002, 09:56:01 AM
Hi Kaenga,

T.U.T.S. means TV U.K. Tour Society.
TJ made this up as a kind of a joke because TV plays a lot more now in Germany,Austria & Switzerland than he does in England  :D

Klaus liked the discussion about this on the old forum and decided to make it part of the new forum.

The reason that this is the most read part of the site is because I am trying to get more TV fans here in England to support him when he plays  :P
Then hopefully he will play more in the U.K.
Hope that explains what we are talking about. Dont worry about the big brother thing, the only one watching you is Klaus and he's O.K.  8)

Bye for now   PK

Hi TJ,

Sorry to hear the machine has finally ground you into the "perfect" cog.
Saw a survey couple of days ago that said that 57% of all e-mails sent from workplaces were in fact personal  :!:
Bet that figures going to drop dramatically now their watching you  8O
As luck would have it my company dont seem to care that much, hense the high volume of messages I've been able to post so far.
Anyway, have sent a message to TV asking if he's got time to post more info on the Southwick gig for all to see, especially the TUTS  :!:
Hopefully he'll have time to respond.

I know the counters on this forum click every time you view a message but I'm still amazed at how many people must be reading the Southwick 2 topic but are still too shy to offer any opinion, comments or even support.
So strange the English  :!:

Post by: Tj on March 21, 2002, 06:36:23 PM
Hi TUTS and fellow TVers,

Just had a chat with TV and had it confirmed that TV's will not be playing his usual long set,   because there are a lot of other artists on as well. Including Richard Strange  8O YYYYIIIIPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!! :D  :)    :P

I have had a chat with TV to see if there is any way we can get the TUTS and maybe one or two of our fellow Euro TVers together and TV is going to look at possible options - but, no promises folks

TV is really busy at the moment working on his new CD called Tj and the TUTS - my (_!_) it is         I can't wait for this CD :P
- but will it be best CD of 2002 or 2003 :?:

Title: Shy Old Clifford
Post by: Tj on March 21, 2002, 11:41:26 PM
Hi Nelson

First off; Clifford is a small village in between Leeds and York, on the border where West Yorkshire meets North Yorkshire.

It is famous for four things:

1. It's huge towered Norman Church.
2. It's old watermill.
3. It's in the Doomsday book.
4. A famous grey haired, bleached trousered, ex Punk Rock singer songwriter was once seen stood waiting at a bus stop their.

 :?

I don't particularly think that people don't post because they are shy  I remember a few weeks ago that a certain person who's initials were PK once said he didn't do any postings because he didn'y really know how to start a posting or if it was worth saying :o And now look how many postings he makes :) and can you really call him shy :?:   I think it's just getting in the habit. Once you start it's much more fun than just reading :P

The other thing is that some people continue these types of conversations via one to one email. As I have with efriends in Canada and Germany, and not over the net. :)

Title: Nelson Pk or Nelson Riddle ?
Post by: PK on March 22, 2002, 12:03:03 AM
Hi Clifford,

Don't know about the "Nelson PK" think, better ask TV when I drove him to Southwick if I was in Formula One mode  :?:

I live in Colnbrook near Heathrow Airport.

Colnbrook is famous for four things.

1. Being on the edge of the Heathrow Runway.
2. Never being quiet because of being on the edge of the Heathrow runway.
3. No one that stands at a bus stop is quiet here.
4. Nothing else.

You B******D , how dare you remember me saying I was shy and did'nt know what to say on the forum. I'll have you know that was my "shy" but EVIL   twin brother.
I was never confused and I'll fight any one legged Donkey that says so  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:
Oh! back to reality then   Yes you are perfectly right it took me a while to pluck up the courage to say what i was thinking all along. Afraid its a bit like opening the flood gates. Maybe I'll run out of things to say soon,NOT  :!:  :!:  :!: Guess I could keep some of my messages personal but I really dont care what people think and if they dont like what I say they can bloody well post a message telling me so,its a free world !!!

Oh and Kaenga if you did'nt think the English are strange can you understand any of the rubbish I just wrote  :?:

Bye for now   PK

Hey TJ,

I'd get a life if I could get the bloody web site up and quit the 9 to 5 in favour of it.
Still where else could I sit and send messages to my heart's content  :!:

This Ex-Punk rock Singer/Songwriter that was at the bus stop in Clifford was he there because he was passing through  :?: or was he there to see the impressive Norman Church or Water Mill  :?:  :?:

Still must be better than "Colnbrook".   Oh to see some grass or a tree instead of a forty foot articulated lorry thundering past your door at 2 a.m.   Know wonder I'm up so late. :!:  :!:  :!:
See ya later   PK

Post by: C5 on March 22, 2002, 11:33:23 PM
TJ

Sorry but i put my post for Southwick 2 in the wrong place but youve probably got the gist that I am also going. As I am here in the North west I will happily offer my support to drive as many TVers as possible down to Southwick - and I have the added advantage of knowing where I am going - having lived in Brighton(and Worthing for more years than I care to remember) and seen TV quite a few times at the Barn there in Southwick.
See You there if not before

Mr C5

PS Can we start a campaign to dictate TV's set list to him in advance of the show. Here's a few ideas:

London Beach, War Fever, Dominator, On your Video, Lies, The Suit, A token of my Love etc etc etc.

I'm doing,"Or Trying",to do the same from the London area to get as many people down to Southwick, hence my Southwick Topic.
This is going to be a riot  :!:  :D  :D
I'm sitting at my computer playing the Useless CD wishing the months would roll on to June.I dont care if TV plays nothing but C5 its going to be brilliant none the less.

I'm afraid I can't promise a marathon like the last Southwick gig...think I have an hour allotted early evening. Another word of warning for travelling TUTS - Glastonwick usually sells out, as real ale fans come from all over the country for it. What I'll try and do is find another UK gig the day before, hopefully London or somewhere in the South for those who want to do the double...

Title: More On Sothwick 2002 2
Post by: Tj on March 23, 2002, 01:35:25 PM
Hi TUTS & the TVers,

You can see elsewhere comments on the site about Southwick 2002 2, I'll try and pull some of it together here for you all :?

Details can be seen on Attila The Stockbrokers site: click onto ARCHIVES and then LINKS and then ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER

The gig is on Saturday 1st June, 2002, in Southwick, near Brighton, on England's South East Coast.

Richard Strange :D  and TV Smith  :D will both be playing seperately (however the "greatest living combined TV Smith and Richard Strange fan, ever" (whoever he is :? ) will be campaiging for some joint sets.) :P The sets will probably last around 40 minutes. Klaus, or I, really need to check this stuff out with Attila though :?

The two day event is also a beer festival :D

I am chatting to TV about the possibility of adding another gig, possibly in London, to help justify the travelling for the likes of C5, Jock, Klaus and your truly. Fingers crossed.

HI EVERYONE,

TJ has been kind enough to post the links to Attila the Stockbrokers site so you can access the line up to the "glastonwick Music & Beer Festival" however TJ has e-mailed me so say the info is not there and on checking it seems the Bloody idiots  :x have removed the whole page
I've e-mailed Attila to ask him to get the line-up put back on the site.
As soon as it's back I'll post a message so you can find it again.

However on checking my work computer this morning ,you guessed it,the information page is back where I found it. :?:
Attila could'nt have even read my e-mail yet so I must have found an "Alternative Dimension " or something  8O
Anyway even if you cant find it on Attila's site here the direct address:

Hi Fellow T.U.T.S.  :D

More info on Southwick gig.

Tickets go on sale next week from the address on the web page on my last post. But if you cant find it the address is:-

Southwick Street
Southwick
West Sussex.
(They did'nt show a Postcode)

Prices are £5.50 per sessions. There are four sessions,1 Friday,1 Saturday Afternoon,1 Saturday Evening,1 Sunday.
Which means if TJ wants to see both Richard Strange & TV he'll have to pay £11.00 ,sorry TJ  :(
May'be you can pretend to be "with the Band" and sneak in  :P

Payments accepted by cheque to the above address made out to
"Southwick Community Association"

Thats all you need to know but still check out the Glastonwick site so you know the days people are playing and the tel no's if you need them.

See you all there

Hi PK and TJ,

I will take my girlfriend with me, if she can spare that weekend.
TJ, you can tell your woman, that all the other women are coming as well, and she won't be alone.

I hope, the TV-gig on the day before Southwick can be organized.
40 minutes are a little short for a trip over to your island.
Would be fantastic to meet the T.U.T.S community, of course.

I think a comprimise is best. Maybe people like Klaus, Hobgoblin (PK) and me can chat to our hearts content on sections like Southwick and leave the others to have thier shorter less gabby postings like on the old forum. What do you think TVers :?:

Title: Moose on the Loose
Post by: PK on March 26, 2002, 09:58:04 PM
Hi TJ,

Time to get real here  :!:

Yes the postings here between Klaus,You & Me are getting more personal and straying away from the talk of Tour info and support for TV.
However the problem is that the personal element is what makes the posts more interesting for me and it gives you an insight into how other fans follow TV's music and what it means to them. :)
This is not a "message" board its a "forum" so we discuss things here  :!:
I will try to move some of this,to say,the General Discussion or Chat part of the Forum but what do you do if you get asked a question in the T.U.T.S. section, ignore it or answer it  :?:
Fred is right as well though,I too thought there would be a lot more traffic on the site and I tried to encourage discussion like you but it seems we are now dominating the forum and other people are just happy to read anything we post. Very disapointed with this
Of course it could also be that apart from be "reasonably" fanatical about TV's music we find ourselves with job's or time to post as much as we like and other people dont. :?
Anyway seriously considering Fred's notion of staying of the site and letting other people take over the discussion for a while, what do you think TJ  :?:

Hi PK and TJ,

I installed the new forum to encourage posting.
The forum was supposed to make it more personal to us.
For the few of us regular posters it is working, right?
Why should be stay off the board, when we are using it the way, it is made for?
I think, it's easier to become an active part of something, if there's a lot going on and you don't have to be afraid that your contribution is going to be in the centre of everyones attention.

Title: Life Balance
Post by: Tj on March 26, 2002, 11:55:40 PM
Hi TVers,

Your comment about available time is interesting PK  and appropriate as I've taken two days holiday to do some goal mapping and life coaching. Even before tomorrows final plan to get my life in balance, I am sure it will come out that I am spending too many hours per day on this forum.

In fact tonight I sat down at 9:45p.m. to do two postings about Southwick  and finish the TV Top 100 over an hour later and I'm still stuck in this vitual reality machine.

It is eating time up at a massive rate and I just won't be able to keep it up.  :( I think that placing time limits on myself and working through it briefer and faster is the answer. :)

Maybe this forum is just too good :P

Hi TUTS and Klaus,

This is the very latest on Southwick from Atilla The Stockbroker:
Quote
"There is a two hour gap between the afternoon and evening sessions at Glastonwick. Richard will be on about 3:30pm,
Tim about 7:45pm.  Seems very unlikely to me that they can play together - but you ask them if you want. Glad you liked the album. See you at Glastonwick!" Attila

THE FOLD -  danceable, uplifting folk - rock

Title: Postings!!!
Post by: Fred21 on March 27, 2002, 12:35:59 PM
Oh well,

I said laying off the site wouldn't work. If other people want to use the site, they will, so let's just do what we want. THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD ONE! Klaus will tell you I resisted change at every step, but now gladly admit I was talking bollocks (as usual).

However, I am worried about Tj - leave your work at home mate - too much training slipping into your postings! I'm being a bit of a hypocrite since I also use TV's work in teaching (see Tj's old postings/reviews) - most recent example - a worksheet on size change in animals in response to temperature change entitled, you've guessed it, The March of the Giants! Other examples, for ecology lectures, The Thin Green Line, etc., etc.

Could always do one on bird behaviour entitled "On the Roof"...

Or

Human evolution "New Boys"

The possibilities are endless...

Off to see DMW tomorrow - yipee!

Hi Fred,

Have a great gig - don't forget to metion TV if you get the chance. :)

Yeah- your right about bringing my work onto the forum. Trouble is I'm spending miles too long on here. I'm going to put some time restrictions on myself after today and try to stop replying to every posting.

It's because my Social Style is Expressive   Oops I'm off again.

I'm going to post the Southwick details on the previous posting to yours on General Discussion so no-one misses them.

Hope to send you the chart we did to finish off the original chart today

I'm rather confused. According to Richardstrange.com Richard is on stage at 2:00pm and according to Attila The Stockbrokers site Richard is on at 3:30pm which one is correct?

Thank you for your time.

Title: Glastonwick
Post by: Glastonwick on April 09, 2002, 07:08:01 PM
Hi everyone,

Updated details of Glastonwick are now up at http://www.cask-ale.co.uk/2002.html - Brighton's Snakemen are doing a rerun of what was to be a one-off gig last year when they played Ruts songs to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the tragic death of Malcolm Owen. They really aren't a 'tribute band' as such, as this is a diversion from their usual set. This will be on the Saturday night in addition to TV's and Robb Johnson's sets.

Sorry that the website was 'up and down' last month, unbeknown to most people this was due was an unfortunate dispute - now thankfully resolved - with the venue committee. The event was very close to being cancelled, but I can assure you all that it will now go ahead as usual.

I can't say myself exactly when Richard Strange will be on, except that it will be sometime Saturday afternoon. Attila will have a better idea as that's his department.

I predict evening tickets will probably be available until 2 or 3 weeks before the event, but don't quote me on that!!! Lunchtime/afternoon tickets should be slightly more plentiful - but again that's no guarantee. If the venue runs out, The Evening Star in Brighton and The Stanley Arms in Portslade/Fishersgate also will have stocks.

See you all there...  :D

Got scans of the t-shirts made by René from Switzerland.

Don't know how many were made and if there are shirts left.
But should I try to reserve some t-shirts for anyone :?:

PK,

as far as I can remember, TV thought about going back to London with you on Saturday.

So there would be one seat missing, right?
Melanie and I could take the train   back to London, if that helps.

So I'd try the British rail on a shorter trip. :)

Hey Klaus,
don´t know why - but since two days I can not send you an e-mail. They coming all back to me   !
To your information: Jürgen and I will go for one week to england and we will go on wednesday or thursday to london and stay there till saturday.
After southwick we will stay for some days at the southcoast and go back to Germany on tuesday or wednesday.
I think that we will visit the gig in london too. But that is Jürgens choise (womans strategy) .
So if you and Melanie are interested in going by car with Jürgen and me to england I think that we could manage it ver easy  .

Hi Simse,

thanks for telling me about the e-mail problems.
And I was wondering why so few mail is reaching me recently.

I am really sick of my hoster (the guys running the server)

Two days ago I found out that space is running low and ordered a few more MBytes. I have to pay more and they earn more. One could think, they are interested in doing this.
But I haven't heard anything yet. They can't be reached by phone. They don't answer my mail.
That's it. I will move the site, again.
Shit, I really have more useful things to do.

Hope I can fix the mess, soon.
Thanks Simse, again. :)

Hi Simse,

thanks for your offer, taking us with you in your car.
But I just ordered my ticket back from London on the Tuesday after the Ipswich-gig and I had to find out that buying just a single ticket wouldn't be much cheaper than buying a return ticket. So I decided to take the train for both journeys.
At least we don't have to worry about meeting up in Germany. :)

So I should arrive at 16:47 in london/Waterloo Station on Thursday 30th May. I am very optimistic, as the British rail isn't involved too much in that timetable.

So we'll meet up at the Verge, I suppose. :D

I've put up some pictures of the shirts René from Switzerland did for the Swiss and German tour.

The G-TUTS should get a chance in Germany to buy those shirts.

Thought about you ordering the shirts from me and I will bring them with me to Southwick.

http://www.tvsmith.com/archives/shirts.php

René also made baseball caps with embroidered TV Smith-logo.

PK,

I think, there a lot things where people should do the same thing in order to make things better. We are definitely no clones, we just show a strong presence of TV Smith supporters.
People might even get more interested in TV, if they see, that there are quite a lot people being very enthusiastic about him.

Anyway, we got at least three different shirts available. I can wear my old self-made blue shirt with TV Smith logo. Someone could wear the Generation Y shirt. So we got at least 5 different shirts!

Hi TVers,

Here is the full email to Attila.

Forty minutes is way too short

If we campaign posiTVly I'm sure we can get TV a longer set time :D

Quote
Thanks Attila,

Tell Patrick to check out www.tvsmith.com ARCHIVES and SET LISTS and the Southwick Schooner gig - at it where my review and pics are - Patrick gets a few name checks.

Having difficulty booking accommodation near the gig. We are currently in a pretty expensive GW hotel at Worthing. There are between 3 and 5 of us. Do you know any local places that will just let us have one nights accommodation (rather than 2 or 3 nights like they are saying at hotels and B&B's in Southwick and Brighton)?

There are a couple of dozen TV Smith and Richard Strange fans coming to Glastonwick. These are mainly the TUTS (TV UK Tour Supporters) from all over the UK and Germany. Is there any chance of extending TV and Richard's sets. We would all most appreciate it.

Also there is some confusion between the Glastonwick site and www.richardstrange.com When exactly is Richard Strange on stage.

All this and loads of quality ales - can't wait. See you their Attila.

Hi Explorers and Supporters,

Here is my reply to the email I sent to Attila:

Hi Tim, just back from Germany
TV and Richard will both have about Ihr 5 mins - remember this is a festival with loads of other acts on, and about 500 people in attendance - much as I love 'em, which is why I booked 'em, it isn't based just around Strange and Tim!
Strange should be on at about 3 (oK Dick?) and Tim about 8.40..
two separate sessions, make sure you get tickets for both (it will sell out)
Cheers A

If you havn't got your tickets - BUY THEM NOW. I'll send away for your two day and two evening tickets tommorow Simone :)  [/i]

Huhu to every TUTS!

A special "huhu" to you, Tj!

thanks for helping to get some tickets
Simse

Huhu Klaus,
here comes a very late reply to your mail from the 1. may (at the moment I am still to stupid for trying to qoute - yes, I know that it is explained under tips ..... )
Great that you have now your tickets although we really liked to take you with us by car to england.
But maybe so it is so more sure for you (I have never been driven car on the "wrong" side .... ).
So we will meet us in london. But what about your plans to Düsseldorf (09.05)? Will I see you there? If yes, how can I recognize you? Will you wear your football -dress, -trikot, -shirt or whatever and a big camera?      Simse

Hi Simse,

Good, you got your tickets for Southwick. :D

I will be in Duesseldorf.
Sorry, my football kit is in the laundry and my camera is fairly small.
Guess, I'll wear a Generation Y shirt.
How can I recognize you?

Hi Klaus and Simse,

Just to make it clear folks I sent for the Southwick tickets today. I haven't actually got them yet. Fingers crossed. I will ring tonight to check they still have both sessions.

Simse, do you and Jurgen want a lift from London to Southwick? I am staying in London on Thursday and Friday night - I don't know were though yet. Where are you and Jurgen staying?

Hey Klaus don't worry mine is also very small 8O  :o

Hi Tj,
but now I can say thank youuuuuuuuuu, or?
 :P  :P  :P
Thanks for you offer with a lift from London to Southwick. But I think that we will go by our own car, because after southwick we will stay some days longer at the southcoast. But if you want we can take you or someone else from London to Southwick :?:
At the moment we just do not know where we will stay in London. I am looking for a hotel in London and I have still a good adress : www.laterooms.com  :P

Hi Klaus,
what a pitty that your trikot is in the laundry,
I can imagine how sad you must be      ...
So I am looking for a man in Generation Y T-shirt with a very small camera in his hands.
No idea how you can recognize me, because I think that I look just very normal. But I have a lot of curls on my head (bis zum Kinn).
As I look completly normal I will wear completly normal cloth, too.
Boring, or?
So I think I will ask every guy in the coffy (a friend saied that it is a small bar) who is wearing a generation y t-shirt if he is "Klaus"    :P
Will it start at 8.00?
So bye until tomorrow
Bin ja schon so aufgeregt .....

I wasn't quite as  :x as I thought. I did mange to get TV and Richard on stage together :D

It's funny I was thinking about TV having a great London gig (like he used to do in the 90's) where all the TUTS could attend. Maybe he could even play the piano again. Or invite Richard Strange and Colin Stoner along as part special guests (sorry I'm just exploring madness again.)

Great idea PK,

Is Clifford (in between Leeds and York) too far?

It's funny I was thinking about TV having a great London gig (like he used to do in the 90's) where all the TUTS could attend. Maybe he could even play the piano again. Or invite Richard Strange and Colin Stoner along as part special guests (sorry I'm just exploring madness again.)

As this is a festival does Mr TV have any idea how long he is going to be on (I cant quite see Southwick 40 happening?)

Glad your with me TJ,

Seriously considering hiring a mini bus or people carrier and kidnapping as many unsuspecting old punk fans from my area to take to Southwick.
He He He!!

Clifford,is that a place or a name
Might be a bit to far but at least it is'nt Cornwall
Looks like all the main posters on the old site are going to make the effort to get down to Southwick.Must have been my threat of harassing them by e-mail   Might still have jog some people's memories ie: Mr C5 (not seen any posts from him ?)
Any how have booked the time of in June so roll on the month's to the best gig of the summer.

Speak to you soon PK

Hi TJ,Klaus,Alan,Fred & MRC5,

I know this IS the new forum but where is everyone
From the looks of it 90% of postings on the old site were done by just 6 people   Looks like its just going to be the same people on this forum
I know I wasnt the most prolific poster on the old site (having just got into it about a month ago) but there seems to be lots of people reading the messages but not saying anything.

But once I started posting, I found out, it's more satisfying that way.
If you look at the view-counts, it's interesting, how many people must
be reading this.
