I'm not sure if this should be here or in the "Return of The Bored Teenagers" bit where there has been some discusssion (I'll let you decide Uli)?
Speaking to TV last weekend, he said that he wasn't doing the full UK Subs tour in 2018 (obviously apart from the selected ones with the B.T.s) as he wanted to spend the time concentrating on the new album.
Hopefully though for us this side of the channel it may mean a few UK gigs early in the year?

Alright, thanks for this piece of "album news"!  8)
So now we do know he won't be support on the whole UK Subs tour this time.

But there will a UK Subs and Bored Teenagers gig in Düsseldorf and Stuttgart

Was ordering Tickets today for some other shows and checked that too. But UK Subs is a MUST See for me

Yes and it's been mentioned here:
http://www.tvsmith.com/forum/index.php?topic=7032.msg76322#msg76322

And is also why TV told A.Grundy that he "wasn't doing the full UK Subs tour in 2018". So my guess is there will be a few UK Subs gigs with TV & BT as support (e.g. Duesseldorf), plus a few TV & BT gigs as "headliners" (e.g. Stuttgart).

Is this correct Tim?

With you, Arturo and two bands playing, where the hell are the audience supposed to go?!

For those of you that have never been, Tim has played there several times and it really is tiny.

Just found out that TV is the headliner at the January Foremans' in Nottingham gig.
Arturo's initial post was a bit misleading to say the least!

Class is in - that's 47 or fewer now...

Seriously, with Tim, Arthur, the members of two bands and bar staff it's going to be tight!

28th January - Nottingham "Foreman's Bar" you'll be lucky if you can get to the bar!
19th April - Middlesbrough "Westgarth Social Club"
20th April - York "Fulford Arms
21st April - Brighton "Prince Albert"piercings optional
27th April - Wakefield "Warehouse 23" - festival thing with the Vibrators, Upstarts etc.

From the homepage:

TV shows no sign of reducing the number of live shows he will be performing in 2018. Plans to release news of the dates Advent Calendar-style from the start of December got a little held up, so here are the first nine in one go...one gig will be announced each day from now on!

Vom Ritchie informs:
Quote
TVOM are playing 5 shows on our mini tour in Jan . We are happy to announce that the last show in Buxtehude is now sold out . Leipzig Stoned Bar on 12th and 13th only have 10 tickets left on both days so get in quick . Düsseldorf Pitcher still has tickets for 10th and 11th but are selling fast . Hope to see some of you there

(Leipzig is now sold out, I think.)

The reason I know this is because I stole the set list from the stage...... which is:

Only One Flavour
21
Safety
Replay
Delete
Lion
Useless
Expensive
Immortal
TV's Over
GBM
Gather.....
Fish
Axe
String
GGE
BT
OCW

GY
No Control
LOrd's Prayer

Runaway...
Good Times

In the top 4 or 5 of the 30+ TV gigs I've been to.

Good to see the setlist when I went online this morning!  8)
(Yeah I saw how you nicked it from the stage, Rob.)
It was great to meet some new & old friends last night!

We had a very nice fan meeting (Phil, Jackie, Rob-C and me) at the Amadeus. Then we went over to the venue, still a few minutes until official "doors open", but TV came out to say hello, plus I got to meet Sally for the first time.
Inside, Ilove & Wolfgang were already there (Phil was able to make his "surprise appearance"). Later, I met more familiar faces (from many other TV shows, but I'd forgotten most of the names) incl. Jonathan, plus also an acquaintance from my hometown (who works in Stuttgart - apparently he saw TV 15 years ago with DTH on the mountain "Zugspitze"!).
Support band "Autoramas" from Brazil were pretty good, playing some sort of "garage rock".

TV & the Bored Teenagers played their set without a break (as they often do), featuring Adverts classics as well as most songs from "Useless". I used earplugs, which filtered out some "noise", but the vocals did sound very clear (gotta say TV sings these songs perfectly!) and I still could hear the other instruments - BB of course is a great bass player; the band played the songs very close to how they sounded on "Useless" (the album).
Highlights for me: Safety In Numbers, Replay & Delete, Television's Over, My String Will Snap...
Very good to hear a new song in the encores ("No Control")!!

The club was pretty full on a Wednesday night - as in previous years it proves TV's fanbase in Stuttgart has grown!  8)

Took a few photos with the TUTS (my gig photos are a blur, as usual - maybe I can find one or two which are ok), chatted a bit, said good-bye and then went home via train & car (arrived after 1am)...

The set list for Tuesday at Frankfurt Au was the same as Stuttgart, although the printed list only showed the 1 encore.  Au was tiny, but very packed, we got a good vantage point at the front with the speakers proving a excellent table for the beers!!  Only 1.5 of those Euro thingies... Bidding Beer was the ale of choice and churlish not to waste the cheap price.  Goldmarks was over twice the price, but hey.  I almost got a RTD conga going with a German lady, but we soon ran out of track. 2 excellent gigs, difficult to say the favourite, but as I also spoke to Autoramas that just edges it.  Good to meet You at last and Rob C and if course Ilona and Wolfgang.  Will try to get photos up soon.

Did!

Knox was fun,  Duncan Reid and the Unplugged Big Heads were rather great and TV was as TV as ever. I think that I'll ignore the act between Knox and Duncan as I can't comment without feeling less than complimentary.

Set list:

No Control
We Stand Alone
Only One Flavour
21
Keys To The World
CITL
Replay
I Delete
Gen Y
No Hope Street
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
Lion & The Lamb
In The Arms Of My Enemy
GGE
BT
OCW

Good to see TV and Sally.

It's been a while...

Only One Flavour
21
Keys To The World
CITL
Replay
I Delete
Gen Y
No Hope Street
My String Will Snap

Total time - 59 minutes!

I thought the act he refused to mention - Paul Angel - was great.  A sort of Tom Waits style gruff singer with some theatrics thrown in. He heads a band called Urban Voodoo Machine (so I'm told).

And he accompanied TV on 4 songs from 'Expensive..' to '...Enemy' inclusive - no previous rehearsals needed!

Indeed Paul-Ronney has this band The Urban Voodoo Machine, I saw them a couple of years ago in Stuttgart, he even put me on the guest list (owed a favour to Rat); here's a quote from my review:
Quote
The Urban Voodoo Machine: great gig, great band, so many instruments on stage from trombone to banjo, 2 drummers and all, such a lot of fun. Nice of Paul-Ronney Angel to put me on the guest list (thanx Rat), met him at the entrance and after the gig, chatted a bit, nice bloke.

I really don't like either that bloke or his band. I've watched him (And them) stink up too many gigs.

Each to their own I guess, but I think the bloke is a shameless self-publicist with few redeeming qualities.

Ho-hum...

slaughterboy will be full of joy to hear that TV performed with Paul-Ronney again at the Vive Le Rock awards show (apparently incl. one of UVM's songs "Goodbye to another year")...

Did he perform his self-celebratory song 'Ode To A Bag Of Douche' perchance?  ;)

He's more than a little oily, as this picture proves.

'Oily' isn't my bag, people...

He's looking to see where the oil goes into TV: note the confusion as he realises that there's no visible receptacle...

Excellent show at the Rising Sun Arts Centre Reading on Friday (and what a great venue) despite some technical problems at the start. No "Back From The Dead" for this Easter gig but 5 of the new songs and a rare outing of "My Place".
Set list:

No Control

Lion & The Lamb

A good crowd despite the bad weather and well worth the long drive also nice to have a chat with Paul North.
All being well, I'll be back in Reading later in the year for the TV support to The Skids.

Well, I did join FB, at first to stay in touch with people from UK/US and so on. Also with time it became kinda important to find info on gigs, album releases etc. Then I started posting my photos there (some people even "like" them!)...

Klaus wanted to update the forum to "link" it with FB and so on, didn't he? Can only be a few years from now!

2 more great gigs at Boro and York- the York one was as good a solo performance as I've ever seen from TV. Arturo played a great set in York too. Good to see TV, Sally, Alan G, Craig Casson, TJ and a nice surprise when Phil showed up in York. TJ said that last year I told him to get back on the forum; he's still thinking about it. Good turnout in York- I was pleased for promoter Chris who had a good night the previous friday when 999 pulled a big crowd at The Brudenell. For some reason I'd missed the last couple of times TV played in boro and this was the first time I'd seen him there since The Explorers played the Rock Garden in 1981!
Boro: no control/ we stand alone/ 1 flavour/ 21/ keys to the world/ delete/ replay/ lion & lamb/ expensive/ immortal/ mistake/ new church/ already written out/ my string/ gen y/ no hope st/ GGE/ teenagers/ 1 chord/ arms of my enemy/ runaway train.

Indeed a great evening in York.  Good to put a face to Alan's name and meet Craig (and you GJ)  and also T.J. (remember him!)

I have always loved York, so the plan was to visit the railway museum, but this fell through after a afternoon visit to the Railway tap at the station and meeting up with a few old Ex BR colleagues.

As GJ has said another excellent set by TV, 90 mins of class, I just hope that TJ & myself didn't disgrace ourselves (too much!)

A few more appearances planned over the coming weeks, so may see you there!!!!

Sorry for the delay in getting this up here:

The Hand and Heart, Peterborough 26th April 2018

The last time Tim played this free to all birthday party (March 31st 2016) Alan and Paula Smith, Alan Grundy, Rob-C and me represented the TUTS. This time it was only me and Rob – and the infamous scatter-cushions!

As I arrived, someone was asking Tim if he could try out his guitar and he agreed. An all too brief burst of rock chord sequences with flamenco-influenced lead runs followed. “Well, he’s better than me” said Tim. He was better than most and Sally informed me that he was The Prodigy’s lead guitarist (Gizz Butt who lives in Peterborough).

Anyway…

After waiting more than an hour beyond his ‘stage time’, TV decides to start. “The good news is that I’ve written a load of new songs. The bad news is that they’re all about the shit that’s going on at the moment!” Lots of cheers and straight into the action:

No Control
The Servant
Tomahawk Cruise
Green Zone
No Time to be 21
Bombsite Boy
Replay
Television’s Over – following a mini stage invasion by some fat Scottish bloke yielding a fresh pint for TV and a request for it at some stage which was interpreted by Mr Smith as a demand (Thanks Tim!)
We Stand Alone
The Lion and the Lamb
I Delete
The drink – complete with a chorus rehearsal for audience participation which was done very enthusiastically. There then followed a second mini-stage invasion by the drunken landlord wanting his CD signed. (At least they waited to the end of his set when Tim last played there. Mind you, that prevented any encore!)
Keys to the World
Expensive Being Poor
Generation Y
Immortal Rich
The Day We Caught the Big Fish – complete with another enthusiastic audience sing-along – for the beer and the company indeed!
Perhaps the Good Times are Back
Great British Mistake
No Hope Street
Land of the Overdoes
Gary Gilmore’s Eyes
One Chord Wonders

Encore:

Only One Flavour
My String Will Snap
Runaway Train Driver

Gizz Butt then took some photos of the audience and promised to put them on Tim’s F*c*b**k page – if you still trust them with your personal data you can check…

A more major “stage” invasion followed as they really do like their merchandise in Peterborough.

As I’d bought some drinks, Sally thanked me for them and also, very kindly, for my company during the evening. “For the beer and the company” I beamed – now that’s got a great ring to it!

Maidstone: fair city of fond memory, how my heart yearns to linger... a place in Kent.

TV has played at The Flowerpot before: "...This is my 2,000th gig at The Flowerpot..." Tim announced. If so, he must have been playing on the spot where the pub is since before it was built and they put it up around him. Which is entirely possible, I guess. Or maybe not. However...

The Maidstone Festival is an established event, and TV has certainly become a regular feature of it. A good crowd of knowledgeable people packed into the bar area to see him. I say 'knowledgeable' as they kept throwing musical curveballs at Tim.

'On Wheels' shouts the audience.

'Bastards' retorts TV. 'You know that's a difficult one for me to play'. But he plays it anyway.

'New Church' comes the cry.

'Didn't think I was going to get challenges tonight...' But, again, he plays it.

'On The Roof'...was a step too far. Tim started it but had to give up.

'If I'd known you were going to call for lesser played tracks, I'd have practiced!' he wailed.

'Can we have 'On Wheels' again?' somebody** shouted.

'*uck off!' came the reply from the stage!

It was that kind of evening: great fun.

Went to "The Mayday Festival Of Solidarity" in Barnsley last Sunday. It was 2 day job but unfortunately, some of us workers have to work on a Saturday! My main reason was obviously to see "our guy" but there was a good mix of music and politics with a bit of poetry thrown in for good measure. TV's set was disappointingly short (see below), in fact "Chip" Hamer's introduction for Tim was only marginally shorter! How, when one band who should have been on before TV didn't show could they over run so that Mr Smith's set was cut down by about a third?

Reading 7th June

Saw TV before the gig and was told that there would be a surprise in store...

Flavour, 21, Control, Gen, Overdose, Good Times (With Leigh Heggerty), Tom Cruise, Lion, Expensive, GGE, BT, OCW.   Leigh played on the last 6 too.

The Skids were suberb too and Charlie his usual self, doing Sub's songs solo.

So the "surprise" was Mr H.   Well kind of... I had been drinking with him in the nearby Weatherspoons before hand....   Oh and he (Leigh that is) broke his guitar on Lion... So put that in the memory... It may become a quiz question one day....

Alan Grundy, Steve The Fish, Tiggy 66 in the audience.

Good news: TV will play in Schwaebisch Gmuend at the "Esperanza" again on Sept 29th!  8)

Also, I'm told he will be in Cologne (Sonic Ballroom) on Sept 27th, Balingen on 30th.

"Sonic Ballroom" have it on their website:

(pretty good write-up in English! where did they find this? wiki?)

In fact I found more tourdates here at "Muttis Booking":

28.09.18    TV Smith Wiesbaden Kreativfabrik

Excellent gig at The Old Town House Warrington on Saturday with TV ably supported by Tim Loud (a local guy who was also something to do with the venue?), another local act (can't remember the name) and Billy Liar (who seems to get better every time I see him).
5 of the new tunes - No Control, Keys To The World, We Stand Alone, No Hope Street and Land Of The Overdose.
TV was joined by Billy for the last 2 songs - One Chord Wonders & Runaway Train Driver.
Nice venue which is almost local for me though the turnout could have been a little better.

Think I'll have to give the Shoreham gig a miss but...Brenchley Beer Festival the next day? Do-able! Also, a couple of my football team live within Ub*r hailing distance, so I'll attempt to drag them along.

The Camden gig a couple of Saturdays later looks a certain, too  :)

Saturday 28th July 2018.

Actress and Bishop, Birmingham: TV (Smith) supports TV (The Vapors)!

Tim was invited by the band to support them, and he certainly set about making the most of his 40 minute slot:

Only One Flavour
No Time to be 21
No Control
I Delete
The Lion and the Lamb
Tomahawk Cruise
No Hope Street
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
Land of the Overdose
Gary Gilmour’s Eyes (Very much the “Turning Japanese" of Tim’s career)
Bored Teenagers
One Chord Wonders

Tim was called back to the stage by a huge reception and asks “Have I got time for a quick one? I don’t want to eat into The Vapors set as I want to see them!”

Of course there was:

Runaway Train Driver

And that was that – 10/10 of course.

I took a photo of their set list, so I know that The Vapors played:

Secret Noise
Trains
King L
Galleries for Guns
Sundown River
Daylight Titans
The Right Stuff
Cold War
One of my Dreams
Spring Collection
Waiting for the Weekend
Jimmy Jones
Letter to Hiro (No. 11)
Letter from Hiro
Turning Japanese (Very much the “Gary Gilmore's Eyes" of The Vapors' career)
Prisoners
News at Ten

Encore:

America
Here Comes The Judge

I never saw The Vapors first time around, so I don’t know what they were like then. Apart from a fantastically energetic new drummer (rest original), their set lacked the power I’d expect from a “Power Pop” band. The audience, with a few pissed exceptions, didn’t really get going until “Jimmy Jones”, and the band finally tapped into this energy with the final third on their set being almost as if it was performed by a different band!

7/10 – would have been 5 for the first two thirds.

Here's the promo video for the gig - I think TV is the one with the blue hair:

Hopefully, Ken and Za will be there too

Brenchley on Friday afternoon!

Me and Mrs. S will be in attendance

So we were.

Brenchley. Odd place to view TV. British countryside pub, miles from anywhere and at, of all things, a Real Ale festival. A nice pub with extensive gardens where a wooden pagoda served as the stage. There were covered and uncovered tables. Looking at the gathering clouds we, sensibly as it turned out, took position at the closest covered one to the stage. PA was either dreadful or off: no other setting. Still...seen Tim in worse circumstances before and, of course, minor setbacks like these were never going to deter Our Man. So...with ironic tongue firmly in cheek, off we went:

Only One Flavour
Clone town
March Of The Giants
21
No Control
Keys To The World
We Stand Alone
Lion And The Lamb
Replay
Never Again Until The Next Time
I Delete
Green Zone
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
(think I missed a song here: insert your fave!)
Tomahawk Cruise
No Hope Street
Last Lost Sheep
The Future Used To Be Better
(Missed another: sorry!)
Land Of The Overdose
Generation Y
My String Will Snap
The Drink
Day We Caught The Big Fish
Perhaps The Good Times Are Back
Punk Rock Poem
GG
BT
OCW

...and off to a smattering of applause from about 12 people who were actually interested and virtually nothing from some, frankly, baffled onlookers. Their loss, our gain.

Got talking to a guy and his daughter who'd never seen TV before but, as it turned out, was a fan. He was from Erith via Bulgaria and his name was Petko. Nice person, so was his daughter.

1hr 55 mins I reckon.

Nobody present could say they were undersold  :)

I'm well aware of the Elland Brewery Earthbound gig. What struck me as being unusual was that a beer festival gig was arranged by someone without the slightest idea that some of those in attendance wouldn't have a clue who the bloke singing was!

At least with the Elland Brewery gig, everyone who was there was under no illusion whatsoever who the geezer with the guitar and vox was. They hadn't just turned up to a warm-water freaks meeting, only to find a kindly but spindly bloke randomly shouting punk rock at them!  ;)

Several early "Earthbounds" featured TV's appearances at either Beer Festivals or the Elland Brewery - or took place in close proximity to pubs holding beer festivals. I blame TJ!

Bit of a special one at the Dog & Partridge in Marchington on Sunday.
I'd not been able to do all three of the gigs last weekend (unlike last year) but this one certainly made up for it. TV played this venue again as he did last year as his "wind down" after the Punk Uttoxeter festival. It's a small pub in a little village just outside Uttoxeter that has regular "Sunday Sessions" and a mini-bus of (I  guess) locals from the festival as well as some of the organisers had made the trip as well as some of the pub's customers.
We were treated to a (close to) 2 hour set with 11 of the tracks from the new album! The only one missing being "Written Out" although there was a rare outing for "Straight & Narrow" as well as the more usual suspects.
Here's hoping for all twelve at the album launch next week!

Luckily, the venue is a short bus ride from where I live.

The Unicorn is a great venue....although beer at nearly £6 a pint may explain why it is free entry.

Several bands on before TV, who was then on for about 50 minutes.

Set list:

Only One Flavour
21
Bored Teenagers
Keys To the World
No Control
We Stand Alone
Green Zone
No Hope Street
Land Of the Overdose
Lion and the Lamb
Expensive Being Poor
Lord's Prayer [last 3 songs accompanied by Paul Romney Angel]
Gary Glimore
1 Chord Wonders

On the final 2 songs, he was accompanied by one of the bands (possibly the Healthy Junkies, but I wouldn't swear by it), which gave 1CW in particular something of a hard rock tinge. It needed 2 attempts at 1CW as TV had to berate the guitarist for playing too slowly on the first go.

TV then left the stage and the band stayed on to play their set.

Bought the new CD - looking forward to hearing it today.

My next TV gig will be a little more than a short bus journey, as it will be in Tampere, Finland on the 22nd.

We'll another cracking night watching T.V.  A 6 hour journey involving trains, tube, bus and taxi found your scribe at The Highwayman in Sourton and what a venue.. quirky is a understatement, but after a tour by Sally a short walk with Alan Grundy (no relation to Bill) down the nearby disused railway line an adjournment to one of the many bars in time for Atilla's poetry set. TV's turn next and the new album was played in its entirety, so all the new songs have been heard by Tuts.. Barnstormer 1649 rounded off the evening, with an excellent set. Much (too much) supping followed, before retiring around 2.30!!!! So the set list was..no control, we stand alone, green zone, never again, keys, satellites, no hope St, lost sheep, sunny side, file it, written, overdose.   Also in attendance was a former member of cheap, I will credit him when I remember his name....   A great night/morning, here's to the next one!!!

Vastavirta - Tampere, Finland - 22 Sep 2018

TV already has an established fan club here, judging by the audience and the enthusiastic reaction to his songs. Previous years' touring with Punk Lurex has clearly had an effect. Vastavirta is a truly fantastic venue, plenty of standing room and enough seating for those who want to stay back a little (and still have a great view). Probably 150+ of an audience, but I think I was the only Scotsman.

First on about 10pm were a reasonable covers band, followed by Punk Lurex, who were excellent.

TV came on at midnight and played the following over the next 80 minutes:

Only One Flavour
21
No Control
Keys To the World
What If?
Replay
I Delete
Lion & the lamb
We Stand Alone
TV's Over
Never Again Until the Next Time
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
No Hope Street
Last Lost Sheep
Runaway Train Driver
My String Will Snap
Generation Y
Land Of the Overdose
[on the remaining songs he was accompanied by Punk Lurex]
GGE
Bored Teenagers
1 Chord Wonders
[encore] The Future Used To Be Better

Was a privilege to be there. The sound quality was exceptional too (or maybe that was just me being impressed by the venue, or the beer).

The venue remained open until something like 4 or 5am, but I left around 3.30 (and, 3 days later, I am just about recovered enough to post this).

When I arrive at the "Esperanza" (after taking a wrong turn in the town centre of Schwaebisch Gmuend - I should've known better, as I'd been to this club a few times!), the 'usual suspects' are already there: Ilona & Wolfgang, TV & Sally, Meike & partner, plus a few people I don't know.  8)
Gotta admit, for a Saturday night (!) it could/should be more people in... what's up with Gmuend?

Anyway, support band Ashpipe (who came all the way from Italy) start their show. They play punk/reggae/ska...
Apart from the typical drums/bass/guitar/vocals line-up they have a crazy guy on mandolin/fiddle/vox, who adds that "special extra" folk flavour. Not bad at all.

Soon thereafter TV starts playing to an attentive audience (well maybe apart from the 2 guys who chat loudly during the songs). I don't have a complete setlist (sorry) with the correct order (sorry again), but these were played: Not in my name, No control, We Stand Alone, No Time To Be 21, We Who Wait, Keys to the world, Coming In To Land, Replay, Lion and the Lamb, I Delete, No Hope Street, Expensive Being Poor, Immortal Rich, Land Of The Overdose, Last Lost Sheep, It's warming up, The Drink, Pushed Again, My String Will Snap, Generation Y, GGE, Bored Teenagers, One Chord Wonders
Encore: Only One Flavour, Runaway Train Driver

Afterwards, we chat a bit (e.g. about the early start in Balingen - TV likes the idea of not starting late, for once) and say bye (until the next time).  :)

Title: Re: TV Gigs 2018
Post by: Uli on October 01, 2018, 09:10:15 AM
Sunday afternoon and I had time on my hands. Took a scenic drive across the "Schwaebische Alb" down to Balingen (90km). Why not combine two things I like to do: going to a gig and "taking in" the beauty of our countryside here?  :)
(And it added to another "hobby": taking photos.)
After a look around in the town centre I drove up to the mountains in the southwest, a steep climb from a parking lot later I was on top of a rock/mountain with a great view.

When I arrived at the venue (not the "Sonnenkeller" for once, but another pub/bar named "Doppeldecker") Ilona and Wolfgang were already sitting inside, so I sat down too. Nice place, reminded me a little bit of the "Anyway" in Essen.
A while later Sally joined us; TV said a quick hello, before he had to go onstage. No-one seemed bothered about the early start, in fact I think for many this was convenient on a Sunday night!

TV started with the (very apt) "Not A Bad Day". Setlist will come later, TV has it. I'll explain why: as we were seated, I had the great idea of writing it down, but I'd left my pen in the car; nobody around me had one (going back to the car during the show was not an option!), then Sally got out her phone ("is she looking for the pencil-app?" I thought to myself) and opened a text program and wrote it all down (I took over when she left for a short time). She passed it on to TV, who just sent it to me:

Not A Bad Day
No Time To Be 21
No Control
We Stand Alone
Green Zone
What If
Replay
I Delete
Lion And The Lamb
Never Again Until The Next Time
Useless
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
No Hope Street
Last Lost Sheep
The Drink
Generation Y
Pushed Again
The Day We Caught The Big Fish
Sunny Side Up
Land Of The Overdose
My String Will Snap
Gary Gilmore's Eyes
Bored Teenagers
One Chord Wonders
-
Only One Flavour
Keys To The World
Runaway Train Driver

I thought this gig was much better than the one on Saturday (and I was glad those who were there the night before agreed with me)! The audience was much more into it and showed lots of enthusiasm, clapping and singing along at times. They loved the new songs (there was a girl who lip-synched the words to the old and the new songs). During "Pushed Again" someone provided great backing vocals ("in my head...")!  8)
Apparently the new CD was sold out at the end of the evening.

Thanks to Wolfgang for buying me an alc-free beer (back in the day that was a "no-go", but nowadays I like it sometimes)! Thanks TV for a great gig and Sally for taking care of the setlist (& the merch).

My photos of the gig are quite blurry (I'm better at taking pics of landscapes or buildings). Maybe there is one I'll be able to share later...
