NOT Halloween, but a Monday night in London - that snookers plenty of would-be attendees!

And since when did you have to wear fancy dress to go to a gig?!

Sounds like they want to make a very special event out of this?

Does an Alarm T Shirt, count as fancy dress?

... to wear the attire of the Esperanto

I must admit, I don't even know what that means. Isn't Esperanto a language?  :-\
If I would go, I'd take this as a "wear what you want"...  ;)

Apparently this was an attempt to get into the "Guiness World Of Records". (More details later, if and when i find them.)

The show was dubbed “The Night of a Thousand Vampires”, and was simultaneously an attempt to break the record for the largest gathering of people dressed as vampires. The crowd duly obliged: the theatre was a vision of capes, fangs and fake blood.

Interesting setlists with a few covers thrown in!

Some vids I saw looked like a fabulous show.

Fantastic night.

More of 'an event' than just 'a gig'.

Place was rammed and most wore 'fancy dress' and fangs.

We got 'The Dog' for the first time ever live.

Also 'Tightrope Walk' which I don't remember seeing live before.

Plus they did cracking cover versions 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' and 'People Are Strange'.

Even 'Eloise' was bearable 'cause they slaughtered a victim live on stage.... :)

Ha ha ha. Sounds like fun.

DV definitely got to use his sense of "theatricals/staginess" for this "event".  8)

So, if this was Pinch's last gig, and they have new dates coming up, who's their new drummer? Have I missed something?

Where's Uli (A.K.A. Mr Damned) when you need him???

I'm right here (& never been far off).  8)

So far, there was no (official) word about a new drummer. Just some tour dates being announced.

Word among Damned fans often mentions Martin Parrot, drummer with Johnny Moped and The Sensible Gray Cells (who're recording a new album), but so far it's just a rumour.

Thanks Uli - always good to have you nearby!

So it's not worth having a bet on Jon Moss making a comeback then?!

I'd love to see a one-off reunion show where all surviving members of the band turn up. Hawkwind tried this with their "Hawkestra" event, and that ended in farce, fights and litigation.

If a bunch of old hippies meeting up can end in mayhem, imagine what it would be like if all those Damned members were in the same place at the same time!

Night of a thousand corpses anyone???

Chaos, Anarchy & Destruction? (Nah, they've already done that, eh?)  ;D

Indeed - I still have my "The Damned - Three Years of Anarchy, Chaos and Destruction" badge from the "Machine Gun Etiquette" tour.

IF they ever did ALL get back together, I'm sure that there would be real anarchy, chaos and destruction!
