2:1
2 beers : 1 bag of crisps
15 minutes : 10 players
last minute : final goal
quite emotional...

Only 2 beers!!
Great performance from England today- just a shame that Raheem didn't score.

That made me laugh too- not as funny as Germany leaving the brilliant Leroy Sane behind though :o

Current headline on BBC Sport: "Manchester United expected to sign Fred this week".

I hope we can be grown up about this GJ!
Always had my suspicions about you :-\

Glad you made it and enjoyed it. Who were the guests?

Nick Peckham, ex bassist played bass on 1 song and Phil Ram who wrote Disco In Moscow came on to sing that.

Jez from The Fuckwits. Known him for years, really nice guy. Died very suddenly and unexpectedly, only 49.

London Islington Assembly Hall on saturday. Had a vile pint in the famous Hope & Anchor first so missed Time To Kill but saw Menace who were really good. Then it was the unmissable Vibrators reunion gig for the last time ever. 22 was a bit steep for a Vibes gig but was worth double to see the original and V2 lineups plus a couple of other guests as well as the current line up. Good turn out too, very pleased for Eddie. Knox was on good form.

Congratulations to Liverpool for uniting the country- everyone wanted them to get beat. I got back from London yesterday without knowing the score and thoroughly enjoyed watching their fans suffer. Disgraceful hypocrites.
Feel sorry for Fred though- his team has lost their manager.

York Fibbers to see SMASH returning after a lengthy absence (think it was 94ish when I last saw them). A bit rusty to start with but they soon got going. Some old and new stuff and they've a keyboard player now. They were much better than headline band Salad who I know little about.

The tracks I heard were awful; I thought I was listening to ELP!

2 more great gigs at Boro and York- the York one was as good a solo performance as I've ever seen from TV. Arturo played a great set in York too. Good to see TV, Sally, Alan G, Craig Casson, TJ and a nice surprise when Phil showed up in York. TJ said that last year I told him to get back on the forum; he's still thinking about it. Good turnout in York- I was pleased for promoter Chris who had a good night the previous friday when 999 pulled a big crowd at The Brudenell. For some reason I'd missed the last couple of times TV played in boro and this was the first time I'd seen him there since The Explorers played the Rock Garden in 1981!
Boro: no control/ we stand alone/ 1 flavour/ 21/ keys to the world/ delete/ replay/ lion & lamb/ expensive/ immortal/ mistake/ new church/ already written out/ my string/ gen y/ no hope st/ GGE/ teenagers/ 1 chord/ arms of my enemy/ runaway train.

York: no control/ we stand alone/ 1 flavour/ 21/ tomahawk/ keys to the world/ replay/ coming in to land/ delete/ lion & lamb/ new church/ we who wait/ my place/ expensive/ immortal/ mistake/ no hope st/ land of the overdose/ my string/ gen y/ drink/ big fish/ good times/ GGE/ teenagers/ 1 chord/ tvs over/ runaway train
See you in Wakefield.
