World Of TUTS / Hello there.......... The Return Of Frenzbob
« on: July 23, 2007, 02:43:37 AM »
Hi my name's Bob, frenzbob  8)

Have just posted this up on a couple of music forums round Bristol and thought it may explain why I've been absent and repeatedly forgot to send tj his cd, the inclusion of a TV song as well, bugger!

''I'm making this public to squash all the vitriol that's been spread about me and this place since last year. Hopefully it will stop but I expect more crap from certain quarters but hey, some people can't see the wood through the trees sometimes.......''

Moved back down from lancs after 5 years from a well paid job to run this place, had plenty of ideas and how it should be, place where people didn't feel intimidated, place for any left field stuff, covering all areas etc etc. The first two years were thwarted by those working here and 'regulars'. Since they moved on at my request last year I have tried through depression, illness and repeated burn-outs and mental breakdown's to keep the place running with many people's help along the way (choke people and the 'proper' punks cheers mi dears!), having to do less and less gigs because we just haven't had the cash to put in big enough orders to sustain them, Catch 22. Fuck I could have gone back to my old job and started on 1600 a month take home.

Last week I had a visit from VAT investigations, was hoping it would be the last installment of all this one way or another (I was so pissed off I didn't really give a monkey's if it went either way). Result - rebate, with interest and part of surcharges back and evidence in the figures that 250 ish a week was being pissed up free by the bar staff and regulars resulting in them looking into repaying vat back on the bottle prices (not sales) for nearly two years as I won't, and even if I would I couldn't  afford to, take any legal action.

There's a song by TV Smith that has been going through my head since last year 'The future used to be better'  fuck it did! I can't see it yet, I've been ill as fuck for nearly a year now, made very paranoid by lies and bullshit spread around by mainly the 'punx' (there's a big difference between punx and punks btw) and others (more when I get my spleen working properly again :) ) and need to get myself back on track. Basically we're back now and can up the gigs and in time put into place a few other pipe dream's as well. We've started redecorating the place as now it feels worth it and upgrading bits and pieces along the way when we have the cash. Btw if anyone has a spare 800 watt upwards power amp cheap or free? Worth a try..........

Thank you's

A BIG BIG thank you to those that have given and endeavoured to give me support through my many months of feeling alienated by everything and everybody (and understanding that depression and paranoia resulted in my 'hard-facedness' and could see through that), many cheers to those who initially forced me to see it was worth keeping going and have been 'rocks' as it were through all this, and a big FUCK OFF to all the backstabbers and shitstirrers, you deserve each other  ;) .

Bob over and out...........''

btw - suzy and los quattro's here on the 29th Nov, how's that for a plug  ;)
