Sorry to hear about cancellation. You must've enjoyed it if you intended to go again!!

Last night I went to the "Vitamin Gallery" in Reutlingen. Never heard of it until my mate Flavio sent me an email about the gig he and his twin brother Fabrizio were gonna play there as part of "Doctorella" (the band of twin sisters! plus a guitarist).
When I arrived I was pleased to see there was food on offer at decent prices (e.g sweet potato curry for 4 euro)! Next thing I was pleased about was seeing the parents of the twins, who I hadn't seen for much too long. Nice to meet them and their sons and some more family members... Then the art exhibition was opened officially. It's portraits of other artists, sometimes with quotes from those artists included in the painting.
Then Doctorella came on, they have good songs with some hilarious lyrics. Steinbach Twins were excellent on bass & drums (as usual)! Free entry, so lotsa people were in and most seemed to enjoy it.
Family 5 were really great. Peter Hein is a weird but good frontman. Band (incl. horn section) was on great form, playing some kind of ska/punk. Mostly original material from old times and their new album, later some good covers were included - "Helden" (Bowie), "Shake some action" (Flamin' Groovies) & "Another Girl Another Planet" (The Only Ones)! Lovely!
2 great bands, art, food, lotsa nice people, what a great night out!  8)

It's quite funny, Uli: I saw Family 5 last nicht at the "Haus der Jugend" here in Düsseldorf. Wonderful Set - great Band!  ;D ;D ;D
by the way: SATD was cancelled because the local promoter wanted the band to play in the little pub of the ZAKK... total idiots: there is space for TV to play his solo set but not space for a band...

VERY happy to take the blame for that Uli.

Yeah Kim - they were/are ALWAYS rather hit and miss - whatever the line up. Shall we continue this 'academic discussion' in Formans on Monday?

Tonight again SATD @ Duesseldorf, ZAKK  :o :o :o :o

 :-X :-X :-X :-X was cancelled last night

Slaughter & the Dogs play Stuttgart next Friday. While I heard bad things about a recent gig in Freiburg (too short at only 1 hour incl. encore), I'm thinking about going... anyone here seen them recently?

Rumour just heard: Sex Pistols playing club shows next month! Plus world tour to follow...  :-\

Yes...
