Good to see TV Smith is coming back to Leeds in November.

Thus time it's with The Bored Teenagers.

If The Library is where I think it is, it's the old Feast and Firkin pub where Dave Sanders of Elland (now at GreyHawk) started his brewing career. The World Just Got Smaller Again. :)

Cheers Fred Ferdinand. :)

This is probably a good move for Sparks going by their last album, which I've not actually played all the way through yet. :o

They said it couldn't be done...

Yes! TV Smith himself admitted that his adventure through the peak district into Buxton and his beer and soup in The Buxton (Brewery) Tap actually beat his trips to Boots and Bright Lights in search of a shaver and a vacuum cleaner repair. Hurrah!

After a beer of two with my wife Lisa and fellow Coach Clare we arrived at The Hairy Dog.

TV had twisted my arm to watch Billy Liar and he was awesome. What a real live wire. TV Smith energy and attitude.

Great to watch Louise again. Her set it stoll looping round and round in my head.

I had a bit of a shock as someone was singing so loud behind me that I couldn't even hear yield singing along. Who was this young upstart?

Yep! It was Phil EKTAFF. Ha!

Great to see TV's No. 1 2015 fan at the gig again. You are a star Alan.

Good to see my old Mucker and original TYT Fred again.

Thanks for Carrying On and Hometown Teev.

We made it in the end.

The funny thing was that Rocket Ron said that Leeds was TV Smith's best gig ever.

And Derby was better.

Like a fine Merlot TV gets better and better with ageing.

"That was the best TV Smith I've ever seen. The sound, the songs and the atmosphere perfect." Rocket Ron at The Fox & Newt in Leeds last night.

Must admit it was a cracker.

Great to see TV, Claret, Alan Grundy, Phil, Gareth, Rocket Ron, Ian, Leigh Sayers. So many TUTS of old.

Derby bound today.

See you in Derby Fred.

Sorry to read about your rear end.

I've never been the same since!

Looking forward to seeing Louise and TV live in The Fox& Newt.

Did you know...

The current brewer at Elland Brewery (UK home of Earthbound) used to be the brewer at the Fox & Newt in February.

That at 1:30pm, on 12th April 1978, Tj Sundown was sat in the Rutland Hotel (now known as the Fox & Newt) when the pub had a massive gas explosion where the bar (and customers) was sent flying through the air. Several customers were badly burnt with flesh hanging down from their hands like bandages. The explosion was featured on The News At Ten.

Sad way to have your fifteen minutes of fame.

Yes Uli, I'm planning to out sparkle the vacuum cleaner and electric shaver adventures.

I'm a True Believer. Anything is possible, because...

We Can Do Anything.

...And that's the wonderful thing!

TV Songs / Re: I DELETE ( LP2014 )

Welcome home Nick.  :)

Doctors of Madness and TV Smith fan e-mailed me this weekend. He dared to say that I Delete was actually even better than the mighty March of The Giants.

Mind you he did share how much he loved In The Arms Of My Enemy and Coming In To Land compared to Miss information Overload (the production didn't quite feel right on that album do I have to agree with him).

I Delete is Pure TV Smith. Is there a better sound on the planet?

...Only if TV featured Urban Blitz on electric violin on his next album. ;)

Glad you love it Nick.

Gawd bless Tim Cross.

Drowning on Dry Land is one of TV's finest ever songs.

Mind you let's not get too carried away. Sparkle outshines Lucky Us any day of the week. ;)
