Only went Friday this year due to family commitments over the weekend but it was a great day with a great line-up, TV plays the Adverts, Penetration, UK Subs and The brilliant Stranglers. Brilliant to catch up with Peter, Gareth, Phil and Boris after not being able to make it last year. For me on a personal note Rebellion Just hasn`t been the same since Alan left us and I miss our in depth musical chats, watching the bands with him and the customary 2 or 3 trips to the Indian in between bands, anyway will try to make it for at least 2 days next year !

Mind you Fred Burnley have had their fair share of idiot fans and still have, I have stood in the same section as them once and I felt intimidated even though we were wearing the same colours !

I`ve heard that they do have a fair few of what we used to call "Football Hooligans" they have been compared to Millwall fans of the past

Yes enjoyed it thanks Fred, Don`t think the Clarets will be inviting them over again. Police said intelligence reports suggested there could be trouble and with all the stands open for about 4,000 fans I can`t understand why that particular stand was open to both sets of supporters- madness !

Well I`m back from Rebellion, great to see Phil, GJ, Peter and my new German friend Boris ! Great Acoustic set from TV on Friday, loads of new songs and a mention of possibly a new album next year. Really glad they put TV and the band in the Opera House on Friday night the acoustics in there are brilliant compared to the ballroom.

Happy Birthday Tim, hope to catch one or two of your gigs this year !

Well I also went to see SLF in Manchester at the O2 Ritz last night but due to the fact that the Headliners are on an hour earlier than any other gig venue ( the bands have to be finished by 10 pm as the venue turns into a nightclub at 11 !) We got there late and totally missed TOH !! Damn. SLF were very good and the atmosphere was great (Gig had sold out 2 months ago) but I have seen them play a lot better, the sound was not quite right somehow.
