Ich weiß nicht wieviele Songs Tim für uns je für uns gesungen hat, aber wieviele jemals veröffentlicht wurden.  :)

Hey, danke, coole Liste!

(This list does suggest that TV played nearly all of his released songs for us. Ok, there were a few covers and some unreleased songs he played, but... wow.)

The list that is on Wiki is only up to 2014 and it contains 1 entry 147 & 148 which are the same song, so the list only has 234 songs.  29 of which have not appeared on setlists.

From the setlists, Tim has given us 235 original songs, and 9 covers.

@slaughterboy: I must look into the members list, maybe I can find out via "last online" how many have been looking in here recently...

Identity was done at Simse's in Paderborn...

And at many more gigs! (How many? - See, could be a quiz question!)

Sung by TV 21 times up to the end of 2017 according to the Setlists.

You have to do another quiz some day, maybe with more "research" before!  ;)

I think that there will be more chance of England winning the world cup this year than me doing another quiz. Research or not Uli. Cwltch.

It may well have been played, but didn't make the setlist...

Good old Alan: still bringing us quality  :)

Oh wow, and I'd thought the "setlists don't lie".  :o
Well, maybe Phil's pencil does?  ;D  :P

It is indeed on the set lists, 4 times actually, so I just missed it when extracting "non TV Songs"

Thanx for review & setlist!

So the "surprise" was Mr H.   Well kind of... I had been drinking with him in the nearby Weatherspoons before hand....   Oh and he (Leigh that is) broke his guitar on Lion...

He broke a string or the whole guitar (neck)?  ???
As you say he played on the following tracks, it can't have been that bad, eh?  :-\

It was between the bottom string and the round thingy. They just played in a different style to get around it....

Reading 7th June

Saw TV before the gig and was told that there would be a surprise in store...

Flavour, 21, Control, Gen, Overdose, Good Times (With Leigh Heggerty), Tom Cruise, Lion, Expensive, GGE, BT, OCW.   Leigh played on the last 6 too.

The Skids were suberb too and Charlie his usual self, doing Sub's songs solo.

So the "surprise" was Mr H.   Well kind of... I had been drinking with him in the nearby Weatherspoons before hand....   Oh and he (Leigh that is) broke his guitar on Lion... So put that in the memory... It may become a quiz question one day....

Alan Grundy, Steve The Fish, Tiggy 66 in the audience.

1)  What are the top 3 songs that TV has played?

Ok, so that's a easy one.. they get harder..

2)  How many countries has TV played in?

3)  How many gigs has TV played?

4)  How many songs has TV sung?  This does not include "soundchecks" as they are not listed (see I am covering all possible arguments!)

5)  There are 8 "covers" on the list, I could be nasty and ask you to name them.   oh sod-it..  name them?

6)  There are 2 songs listed, but they are neither songs nor "spoken word" (so 1 is not Punk Rock Poem) any idea?

7)  How may different TV songs are listed?

Ok then, lets see how you get on, there are of course no prizes (apart from a worn out pencil, but that's another story)

1. GGE, BT, OCW
2. 25
3. 3,600
4. 30,000
5. Power In The Darkness, Babylon's Burning, erm...
6. No idea?!
7. 195

Think I may be too late to claim my worn pencil.

May, other than  #1, be slightly incorrect!  ;)

1 point for the top 3 played.

Could've sworn TV covered 'Babylon's Burning' for the Paul Fox gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Am I imagining things?

It may well have been played, but didn't make the setlist... There is 1 list where OCW is listed 3 times, but no GG or BT.

I will have a look for that gig again, am on a train heading for who knows where at the moment....

Sorry you thought I was too difficult..  Dont worry I wont bother again.

Hey, I like a bit of a challenge, so keep them coming if you can think of any questions!  8)
Of course I was asking "how long is this running?" because I knew it could be a long time before Gabumon or Tj or ... (insert long-lost TUTS' name) would see this.

Seems I was pretty close with some replies! (Good old maths + guessing...)  :)

Where does #6 come from and what does this mean?  ??? (Is this a typo of "We stand alone"?)

What about #7?  :-X

I assume it was a typo as was "2nd Encore" although TV has intimated they both might make an appearance at the next Earthbound..

Number 7 was 237 songs

Ok then my fellow forumites, this one is for you and I have put it in "news" although it also covers "Gigs & Songs".

Basically you can blame both Tim and TJ (remember him?) oh yes and a few pints of York's finest ales, but I digress...

At the aforesaid gig in York recently, I was asked if I knew how many songs TV had played for us over his career and so.. pen in hand (well pencil actually), I have worked my way through the setlists published on the site extracting all the songs.

And so dear bretheren and holy collective, it leads to a quiz.

So, now this is based purely on the setlists published on the forum up to the end of 2017 and, unfortunately there are several missing (234 to be precise), there are a couple of errors in the listings, like duplicate listing of songs or "partial lists", so before anyone gets too pedantic..

Ok here we go.

Astounded by the enormous response the answers are

1) Gilmore, Teenagers, OCW.

2) 32 countries

3) 2,014 Gigs

4) 37,674

5) Power In The Darkness, 2-4-6-8, Iron Man Of Rap, Baby Baby Baby, Identity, Doing what God put me here for, Mighty Sword Of Justice, Outsider Artist.

6) We Stabd Akibe & 2nd Encore

Sorry you thought I was too difficult..  Dont worry I wont bother again.

Sorry, just a bit of stress-busting between marking. No time to be 21 to do it properly at the moment I'm afraid...

No probs, I will be here for posterity
