This is a must have. I don't have a credit card so I like to buy all the merch off TV at gigs. As I have not been to see him live for a while I am falling behind so I better start saving.

RIP Bill Allen (William Allen Snivley), cut one of the greatest records ever made, for Imperial in '57! Please Give Me Something
(supposed to an inspiration for Drug Train by the Cramps)

I've been listening to as much stuff by The Cramps as I can cram into the yawning gap between my ears.

They fill it, like expanding foam, in a most satisfying way.

There is something about a basic drum beat allied to an electric semi-accoustic reverbed up to 11 that is irresistible  :)

I got into the Cramps in a big way last year and acquired most of their back catalogue, and as a result have discovered some fantastic old rockabilly and 60's garage music that I had previously not heard of via the Song's The Cramps Taught Us anthologies.
Lux Interior another sad loss.

Various from that other Tim Smith chappie - the Cardiacs. Wonderful stuff, such a shame that I understand that he remains very ill... Also still listening to Dirt Box Disco - must get some more stuff from them at Rebellion....

I agree with you about the Cardiacs Alan. A great band that I have been fortunate to see live a few times in the past. So sad about Tim. It has been a few years now so the prospects are not looking good for him. :(

That has given me an idea. Anyone know where the Brotherhood of Man or Scooch live?

I had not heard of Pirate Bay before this so thought I would check them out. They have a large porn section so that makes them money grabbing multi-national exploitation dickheads in my book. (And no that is not the title of one of the films  ;))

I have discovered a various artist compilation on itunes called Chocolate Soup for Diabetics which features loads of great obscure uk psych bands from the 60's. Some great tunes there.
