Listen to a 1983 Joe Strummer Demo of the Clash's "This is England":

Good to hear you've recovered.  ;)
Thanks very much for your review and for taking the trouble to go to Finland to be able to write a review for us!  8)

I'm counting the days until my next TV gig - only 3 days left!  :D

Glen's new album Good To Go, initially released via Pledge Music, goes on general release 21st September. The perfect time to take stock of all things Glen Matlock and Good To Go.

Vastavirta - Tampere, Finland - 22 Sep 2018

TV already has an established fan club here, judging by the audience and the enthusiastic reaction to his songs. Previous years' touring with Punk Lurex has clearly had an effect. Vastavirta is a truly fantastic venue, plenty of standing room and enough seating for those who want to stay back a little (and still have a great view). Probably 150+ of an audience, but I think I was the only Scotsman.

First on about 10pm were a reasonable covers band, followed by Punk Lurex, who were excellent.

TV came on at midnight and played the following over the next 80 minutes:

Only One Flavour
21
No Control
Keys To the World
What If?
Replay
I Delete
Lion & the lamb
We Stand Alone
TV's Over
Never Again Until the Next Time
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
No Hope Street
Last Lost Sheep
Runaway Train Driver
My String Will Snap
Generation Y
Land Of the Overdose
[on the remaining songs he was accompanied by Punk Lurex]
GGE
Bored Teenagers
1 Chord Wonders
[encore] The Future Used To Be Better

Was a privilege to be there. The sound quality was exceptional too (or maybe that was just me being impressed by the venue, or the beer).

The venue remained open until something like 4 or 5am, but I left around 3.30 (and, 3 days later, I am just about recovered enough to post this).
