Raw Meat Spread Eagled
« Reply #255 on: May 31, 2004, 11:46:01 AM »
You've got some to match though Jock

Pity yout batteries ran out for my spread eagled on concrete look, during the 70's TV Smith and Richard Strange 'Raw Meat For The Missionaries' Demo; Some Kind Of War. Did anybody get that somewhat extreme act of shock and homage?

Perhaps The Good Times Are Back
London Beach
Atlantic Tunnel
Driver And Passenger

No surprises their then.

What do you TUTS (especially those that sadly couldn't make it) think of the set TV played?

For some reason Fred requested Driver And Passenger...

...I can't think why?

Conga Action
« Reply #259 on: May 31, 2004, 12:05:48 PM »
I'll leave with this action shot from Klaus

He had the gusto to take a photo whilst actually jumping up and down in Frenzbob, Fleagle and Smit's Runaway Train Conga.

Got to admire him for that. :D

It is absolutly fantastic! not only the old demos and the new songs, but also 4 explorers songs. the only explorer song that I've heard live yet is tomahawk cruise :(
They'll tell you that they love you, like a spider loves a fly.
Promise you you're safe but never look you in the eye.

C5 thought that The Servant, The East Way and Walk Away was the most popular part of the night for the crowd.

Looking at the faces of Smit and Klaus he might be right. :D
I've got to go for Some Kind Of War though. 8)  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D Spread out that eagle TUTS.

I was one of the most optimistic about the set list. :D Even when Fleagles car exploded carrying TV 8O I stayed positive. :D But GAWD I never expected a set that good. 8O  8O  8O

I'm still in heaven.

Thanks Klaus. :D

Another great batch Alan. :D  :D  :D

I've picked a couple out for further inspection

Fred (drinking Carling 8O ) plans to exit stage right as C5 breaks an explosive Tomahawk Trump and Tj turns into a hop demon.

Fleagle slips Smit a tenner not to tell anyone in the Fox & Hounds about his failed attempt at leading the Runaway Train Conga...

...TV broke a string!

The Good TUTS Are Back
« Reply #269 on: June 01, 2004, 11:28:43 AM »
Just a quick note from me to say thanks to you all for Earthbound 3. A lot of work and a lot of travelling for many of you...but what a great evening!
TJ - I think you have more or less managed to reconstruct the setlist. I seem to remember also playing "Bored Teenagers" and "One Chord Wonders" and for sure Klaus requested, and got, "Eurodisneyland Tomorrow" towards the end...
