The stage time for TV is 4.15 according to the website. Head for the civic centre. Anyone going?

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Due to the withdrawal of funding for this festival a lot of the big name acts have pulled out...the good news is that I'll still be playing and there's still a varied and interesting line-up of acts performing. In particular I'd recommend David Rovics, who plays on Sunday evening - if you're interested in political songwriting, you should see him. My stage time is scheduled for 4.15 on Sunday afternoon. Events like this deserve and need your support, so hope to see you there!

Sorry I couldn't make it Teev.

Any news from any attendees on how the gig went?

things didn't look too good when I arrived, it was raining and there was hardly anyone there with most people sheltering in the beer tent (excellent local brew called Wylam was on sale). The beer tent was fenced off from the rest of the site meaning if you had a pint, you couldn't get within 30 yards of the stage. Anyway, a few familiar faces turned up, it stopped raining, and TV played a storming 25 minute set. the sound was really good too. Best bits for me were hearing 'ghost' for the first time, and the brilliant 'not in my name'. Shame the geordies didn't support the event better, but those that were there loved it.

Hi I don't know if it's you that puts the setlists on the site, but the Newcastle one was;

No time to be 21
not in my name
only one flavour
ghost of westminster
lion and the lamb
runaway train driver
my string will snap (it did!)
punk rock poem
gary gilmoure's eyes
bored teenagers

regards

GJ

Big thanks GJ

I've posted it in the forum for Klaus or Gabumon, who will hopefully transfer it over into the Archives. :D

Looks like a good set - glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks GJ.
TV not always finds time to write down the setlists for the website, so it is always great when some friendly TUTS provide us with the list. :D
