EARTHBOUND 4G TV Fan Club Gig In Essen, Germany 30.10.05
« on: May 19, 2004, 09:10:50 AM »
Thought we'd better start on a new theme after reading Jock and HosenFan's recent post.

This could turn out to be a bigger battle than the Olympics.

So, TUTS, the big question is who is up for arranging EARTHBOUND 4 in 2005?

Fleagle's just suggested The Fleagles to arrange it at either the Fox & Hounds or the local borough's August Bank Holiday Monday Green Fair at Carshallton.

Any other offers or suggestions for E4 TUTS?

So that's Carshallton, near that London, in the UK and Germany. Any more suggestions TUTS?

Where abouts in Germany would be the best location to hold EARTHBOUND 4?

I suggest Duesseldorf. there's an airport so GB (and other foreign) tuts have not that much problems getting there.

That sounds good for us Brits HosenFan.

Any thoughts on this Klaus and the other German TUTS?

I absolutely agree with HosenFan suggesting Duesseldorf.
Should be easy for non-Germans to get an affordable flight and Duesseldorf gigs always tend to be very well attended, as Duesseldorf is the Toten Hosen headquarter of Germany.

So how do we decide which gig?

It's Gernmany versus the UK versus Spain.

YOU CHOOSE TUTS!

We could have a poll on the sie  :!:

Or out of the 3 main contenders England, Germany and Spain, maybe we should use the results of Euro 2004 to choose, either the country that finishes the highest (out of the above 3) or the country that scores the most goals  :D

My personal choices of locations are as follows:
1. Dussledorf
2. Barcelona
3. Carshalton (England)

It's about time the 'Runaway Train Driver Conga' went international

Mrs Fleagle

that's a really, really bad idea :!:
we've lost 5:0 against romania and 0:2 against hungary

a poll wouldn't be bad

Let's be fair and hold it in a country that's not allowed to play in Portugal...
nce you hear the details of victory, it is hard to distinguish it from a defeat.

I just added a poll to the website:

In which country should Earthbound 4 in 2005 take place?

I'm sure we've discussed this before and myself, Jock and Alan (I think - sorry if that's not accurate!) were all in favour of going to Germany.

To make it as practical as possible, we'd have to get a suitable venue, etc. organised in plenty of time for people to save up, get time off work, book flights, etc., etc.

But I'm in!

Friedrich.
