So you swapped sides for once.

I'm not posting about this subject anymore. You know why, but I need to explain that Mart didn't swap sides for once, I asked him to put himself in the shoes of those against hunting, which he bravely did.

I haven't yet shown such courage, but I will one day. I even read a hunts and horses magazine to try and understand thier point of view. I still find it too difficult to talk about without feeling violently sick in the stomach.

By the way anyone know the best way to stop the mouses eating all the food in my kitchen cupboard. I don't want to hurt them, but it 's getting to be a big problem.

Are humane traps a good solution? If so which type should I buy?

I really wanted to say welcome back Shan. Cheesy

Well Tj, you know what my answer is (and it included Shady)

But you can buy traps which simply lock the mice in a box so you can remove them.

Btw big thanks to Scotland for today they found a man that was charged with fox hunting not guilty. I hope the courts react the same in this country.

All life is sacred. Cheesy

He is very guilty morally. That is more important than the courts.

I'm backing back out of here now.

I didn't realise that when the hunting law comes in (if indeed it is the same law as Scotland) horse and hounds can still be used to "flush" out foxes but instead of allowing the dogs to kill the fox, it has to be shot instead. That's the only difference, I think!  :?

  Vile.

TJ, make sure all your food is in either a wall cupboard, or inside tins, we had a major mice problem some years ago and I speak from experience!!
Don't leave bread out for the birds nearby or leave a bin bag near the house (sling it over the neighbour's fence...) NO!! Seriously, if there's no food they'll go elsewhere - hang on, you don't live nextdoor to a take-away do ya?  :?

Interesting that word humane.

Catching something in a box (so it will be petrified) and carting it off somewhere where it doesn't know and then letting the elements kill it instead. And an owl's probably got it now anyway.

Very interesting word.

I will refrain from using the words 'guilty conscience' and 'attempted justification'

Whats funny is the fact that we could have another year to go, if the legal system proves it's more just than Tony "Tosser" Blair!

i see at the bottom of your sig you say you have a problem with reality.... well it looks like that s very true. listen, fox hunting is outdated and unnessessary.get real.move on its 2005.
its the rich once again thinking they are above the law.the magority of decent people want rid of it its been outvoted by democracy(despite what your CUNTryside alliance whould have you believe), get used to it and learn  to live with it.you have to go with the the vote.if the magority of the general public vote for it out then out it goes despite if they live in a city or not.
we all dont like certain laws that are passed but we learn to get on with it. i didnt like the poll tax but, i didnt storm parliament like a spoilt brat. do the same and move on for christsake.its becoming mundane and very tedious your pointless rantings me, i think its great seeing how pissed off they are that their bloodshed has come to an end.except it and move on. diddums.
