Decided to start a new topic for this, as it's not "official" part of the TUTS meeting (though I guess 99% of those who come to Essen will also be in Duesseldorf).

So who else will be going to Duesseldorf on Saturday to see TV Smith, The Boys, The Lurkers and more :?:

I'm currently listening to my Boys' records to "prepare" myself for the show.  Cheesy

Cheers Gabumon, good to see the time schedule!

Considering TV is co-headlining, half an hour seems a bit short.
Hope he'll play a bit longer...

PS: Ich hoffe um 7.45 hab ich noch keine 4 Promille...  8O

Even if it rains on Sat-Sun, we will be inside anyway.

Hmm. I said to Smit last night that I thought the Soundtrack Festival would be an outside gig. I gather it's inside as Smit thought it would be.

Can you tell me anything else about the gig and what it will be like. How many will be expected to be their for instance?

Do we queue to get to the front or is it a mad dash?

I'm not very good at German (I do know what nine and kaput mean though - it's just after that I get stuck) but it says it English  "BEER AND MUSIC - so it must be good.

Hm, nine is English and means "neun"    9

Guess you referred to "Nein" which means "no".  Smiley

Here's a small "English to German course" for you ETUTS:
Please - Bitte
Thanks - Danke
Beer - Bier
Yes - Ja
No - Nein

Hope this will help :!:

The Festival is inside the ZAKK (Fichtenstr. in Duesseldorf), here is a link:
http://www.zakk.de

See you there (I hope, no idea how full it will be or how big it is)!

Hmm I overheard a German once saying Danke about me...

At least that's what I think they said.

And yeah I meant Nein. Cheesy

Got it

"Neun Bier's, danke."

...That's me sorted. Cheesy

Thanks for the link it looks much smaller than I imagined.

Yeah, it's rather small. Really nice, though. I think it will be big enough, but I've just seen T.V. at the Luminiere or so in London, where we were about a dozen people including the two support bands, so this will blow my mind from 13 attendants onwards.

Welcome Keno!
Thanks for the description of venue. Yeah, there should be quite a few more people than a dozen!

TJ, I guess these Germans said "nein, danke" about you! (No, thanks.)
