I enjoyed it! Highlights were Chris TT, Stoney, and old classics such as 'Glad to be Gay' , 'Motorway', and one of Tom's new songs (whose name escapes me).

I agree some of the newer stuff was a little MOR and as far that Elton John song....

BUT I enjoyed myself and I'll be back for more next year!

cHEERS

Too Strong? Too Strong? Too Bloody Strong???
« Reply #17 on: January 10, 2006, 05:04:14 PM »
No, not at all!

As I said to you on Sunday - without TV and the rockier (i.e. earlier - TRB Stuff!) I can take or leave a lot of his stuff since then - always worth catching to hear those old classics again though.

If he responds to requests, as he kept mentioning on Sunday, perhaps we should make sure we get some in for Grey Cortina, Up Against the Wall, Don't Take no for an Answer, All right all night, etc., etc., etc. - those WERE the days!

HOPEFULFRED!!!

I thought Lee was OK. It's not really my sort of music but you can't doubt his passion, and he seems a good bloke

Paula was impressed and really enjoyed his part of the show

On Amazon and Play.com; in both cases it's around 7.95... so not expensive

Cheers Alan - strange he didn't mention it at Castaway or in the emails!

Probably is - just says "Tom Robinson Live" - so unless its old footage, he doesn't do many (2 a year) gigs now!

Let's hope it includes TV doing his bit! (In which case this web-site should also know about it!)

Cheers

NO BUT,YEAH BUT THEY FILMED IT  :!:  :!:

I was pissed... but even I cant miss a camera....especially as we were really noisy and they kept panning around to look at us..hehehe

If it took until now to release film from 1984 then it should be....... 2028 when they release the footage with TV on it  8O

Bet you cant wait Alan & Fred

It's just disappointing as they said they were going to rush release it in order to send the profits on to the Disaster Emergencies Commitee.
