"IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD"
« on: June 21, 2002, 11:38:08 PM »
...No I'm not talking about Spanking Spencer being knocked out of Big Brother 8O

"IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD" is the headline from todays Yorkshire Evening Post.

I remember TV talking at Sheffield about how the headlines to September 11th read "Apocalypse" and TV thought that was a bit strong untill he read "Disaster" when a football team got relagated.

What was it a famous NW soccer manager once said "Football is more important them life and death" or something like that...

Boy can you imagine how we could really lifted this nation if England has won against Brazil and gone on the win the World Cup.

I think we should start a campaign for matches to just last 45 minutes - everything was roses then.

Oh well - IT'S ONLT A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

   8)

PS: Well done to Germany...

...What do you mean was that difficult to type :?:

Hi TJ,

sorry for your team. :(

Well done to Germany...

I bet this was hard to type, as it wasn't well done. It was just the typical way Germans win such matches.

Yes, Klaus and TJ, Germany only won by luck (and a good goalkeeper)!!! The speaker on German radio even said how much he'd like to see them play good football but it didn't happen...
Just around the corner and miles away...
