Thanks for the reports!!
Still no guest spot for Teev at the end of DMW gig? About time I'd say, surely they'd love to play One Chord Wonders together?
Especially on nights when they don't have any other special guest...

re your comment - TV did play 'transmission' with the band near the end - we both forgot to mention that!!

A rather good version it is too! Being an old Joy Division fan I might have said "You can't do that!" but I'm happy to say it's a worthy version to my ears!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Edmonton gig even thopugh I was too late to see TV's set due to traffic jams and not being able to get out of work early   , but the DMW set was well worth the dirive and of course TV was on stage with them for Transmission. A couple of regular Damned fans were present, and a few who hadn't ever seen TV before were chatting to him during the "interval" saying they were converts. The more the merrier!

Quote from a report by Pedro Cutthroat (Hereford, Monday night) on the Damned board:

Wot a great gig that was...Cracking set from TV Smith to open (personal fave last night was "The day they caught the big fish". Followed by a fab evening's entertainment from the Dead Men...I must admit, 'twas one of the most enjoyable gigs, and best atmo's I've experienced for some time, despite being a seated venue (Standing for the encores at least thank god!). The band all had tour flu, thanks to Kirk apparently...

I definitely can't get time off to come to Glasgow gig, but I've got Monday after Croyden sorted out as leave, so I'll be darn Sarf for the Fairfield Hall gig.
Look out London, lock up your pints, Rancid's around again!

Many thanks to Fleagle, Mart and Klaus for pointing me in the right direction to get my PC back up and runing.

Fleagle said theat the DMW gig was his favourite gig of the year.

Lisa has just pulled out of tomorrow nights gig, so it looks like we might have Sam and Dean on the front row with me and Smit. :D

I only have one objective for the evening - to get TV on stage with DMW playing an Adverts song.

Not a great day so far. Both Smit and Lisa have had to pull out of tomorrow nights gig in Leeds.

Anyone interested in one or two front row seats? First come, first served.
