I've just watched the firts series of The Shield after borrowing the box set of someone at work.  Now I don't usually watch cop shows, but this was probably the best thing I've watched in years.

Borrow the rest! The shield just gets better and better, especially the most recent series' with Glenn Close and Forest Whitaker.

Watched all of the first series of "Deadwood" over the last two days - so addictive I've just ordered Series 2. Great stuff!

Just finished watching all 5 versions of 'Bladerunner' and the 3 hour documentary....in two days. I'm a fool. I should have spread it out but I was too greedy. :D

Deadwood... who knew cowboys had such dirty mouths.
Just started watching it myself and it's good, HBO tend to make good shows though so no surprise there (the wire, soproanos, Oz., cough#sex and the city#cough) and for an added bonus they're actually an hour long!  :)

It's a wee bit crappy but has enough laughs to keep it going - the new ITV sitcom "Teenage Kicks" with Adrian Edmondson; one of the best bits is spotting the punk song used in the background, the first episode had some Vibrators, Undertones, Ruts amongst others. It's on Friday nights, and follows the superior Benidorm

You got it Fred. ;)

...Then stay up and watch the show and the review.

Boy was it a cracker and the meal with my Mum and Dad was brilliant too.  :D

Everybody's happy.  :D Well apart from the poor person who was wrongly kicked out. >:(

Obviously I love punk, and I like Adrian Edmondson a lot too, but I have severe doubts aboout the "sitcom" Teenage Kicks - more importantly, so does Mickey Bradley!

"Teenage Kicks - The TV Show
It is with great sadness that I report the death of the black Ramones T-shirt. It expired as a piece of credible clothing last Friday night when it appeared on the ITV comedy Teenage Kicks. You've probably seen the programme or read the reviews so I'll let the quality of it pass, although I do worry that some of the bile directed towards the show might infect either the record itself or the band that recorded it. The next time The Undertones play Teenage Kicks on stage, will the audience start booing at the memory of Adrian Edmondson's not so finest half hour?

Back to the Ramones T-shirt. I have one, you may have one, and now the character in the TV show has one, which kind of spoils it for the rest of us. It's now shorthand for men around fifty who still think they're in their twenties. Maybe it was always so but it's not nice to have it brought home to you while watching what was almost a parody of a bad sitcom. When Rachel in Friends wore a MC5 t-shirt (or should that be an MC5 t-shirt?)  it was alright in a 'nice to see a bit of recognition for Detroit's forgotten boys' kind of way. I pray that the wardrobe department at ITV haven't any Undertones T-shirts."

"The day after tomorrow" - not a bad idea for a movie, but I didn't enjoy the result much.  :(
Loads of special effects, but the story... full of "Hollywood kitsch".  :P
Just around the corner and miles away...

I Am Legend on import DVD. Gotta say I prefered the original 'rejected' ending which although not the same as the novel is more inkeeping with the tone of the book.
Stiil no where near as good as the Vincent Price version though.
