If so, where's the dodgy JJ Sir?

Did the link I gave (from Arte itself) not work for you?  ???

Fortunately I found it quickly, it's at minute 37 onwards! German speaker says that many punks of the first wave distanced themselves, like for example JJ Burnel from the Stranglers... (it remains unclear if the person interviewed in the back of that car is supposed to be JJ - but who else should it be if he just talked about him?).  ::)

They've nicked most of the footage from "Punk in London" - including the interview straight after JJ is very arsey with the film maker.

See about 1.11.40:

"Whiplash" - not a bad movie!
http://www.whiplash-movie.net/site/

However, it kind of reminded me why I sometimes like a little a bit of jazz, but not for too long...
there is no "band feeling", no playing "together", it all just seems to be about "precision" (at least in this movie).

Also, when a "teacher" like he is portrayed here, does not find the "new Charlie Parker" and drives one of his pupils to suicide, he should at least question his own method (but he doesn't)...  ::)

This week I've been watching 'Daredevil' on Netflix.

I've watched the first four episodes and I think it's excellent so far.

The Raven (surely it's basis):

And Roger Corman's Poe movie cycle. Can't think what's made me want to watch all this old horror!

Not much in cinema I really want to see. But I'd like to watch tv series "Fargo" (loosely based on excellent movie by the Coen Brothers):

Yesterday I watched the first two episodes of 'Zoo'.

It's the one where the animals of the world turn nasty and get their own back.

It was a bit of fun.

Yeah, the first series of "Fargo" was great. I think I've seen a trailer for a second series recently.  I've just watched the first episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" and it looks good too.

What I'm really enjoying is re-watching "Soap". I get a lot more of the jokes now than when I was 13!

Yeah, the first series of "Fargo" was great.

Sounds promising, will get to watch soon I hope.

Also on the list: Better Call Saul (almost forgotten about that one), Wayward Pines and True Detective season 2.

Just About to start The Flash season 1 & Arrow season 3. I love the comic book stuff and I think the tv series & films are being done really well at the moment. Looking forward to watching Daredevil and Aka Jessica Jones real soon
