Thanks for the link.

Quote
Young's forthcoming autobiography will offer a "revealing [and] intimate" insight into the legendary singer-songwriter's career, according to its publisher.

Titled Waging Heavy Peace, the tome is due to be published by Blue Rider Press - a new imprint of Penguin - in autumn 2012.

Should be a good read!  8)

Thanks, have it playing now, sounds typical NY & Crazy Horse if you ask me.  8)

Edit: maybe it sounds so typical because it's a medley of older songs? I definitely hear "Cortez the Killer" in there.

According to Young, one album, Americana, is done and a second is in the works. Interestingly, Americana appears to be filled with traditional songs like Oh Susanna and Clementine but reworked by Crazy Horse.

Urgh, not sure if I need this...  :-\
Maybe the second one will be filled with new songs.

Young has long been obsessed with new audio technology and has also been vocal about the inadequacy of the common mp3 format to accurately represent proper studio sound. He said that he had met with Apple CEO Steve Jobs about developing new hardware that could store higher-quality digital recordings.
