If it gets the full funding there's an interesting documentary on the way:

Well, how much funding does it need? Has it got the backers it needs. Is there a possibility of a TUTS donation towards this. I wanna watch it right now.

They're the guys that did the Red Sea at the 100 Club video - there has been talk of this, and the copyright issues, for some time now...

I can't get the trailer to play! PANTS!!!

Don't get too excited TUTS the sound at my interview at the Exploring Madness gig wasn't too good so it might not make the final cut. ;) ;D ;D ;D

Seriously...

I've been waiting over halve of my life for this.

WE WHO WAIT. :D

Guess it's a message to finish my interview Uli. ;)

I know I've mentioned this before, but some bands, like Spear of Destiny, have had their fans sponsor new recordings, etc. You pay over the odds, but get a few extras - early editions, your name on the sleeve, a chance to see the band play live, etc.

I'd certainly be interested in doing this to get the DVD going. The problem is I don't know how much is required and how many of us would have to buy-in to the idea for it to work.

If you know Jamie TJ, do you think there is any mileage in this idea?

Hi all-
Thanks for the interest and comments regarding the film and promo.
FYI, better quality versions of the promo can be seen at:

and
www.vimeo.com/malcontentpix
As the blurb says, we are currently seeking completion funding but unfortunately, a fan-based whip-round seems unlikely to help as the rights bill alone runs into thousands of pounds.
However, neither my producer Andy nor myself are ruling anything out and if anyone knows someone rich who might be willing to invest in a project of this kind, do get in touch.
All the best,
Jamie

Wow - many thanks for the speedy update Jamie.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone rich and don't have any bright ideas beyond us paying a premium rate - sorry!

Great to see Richard Strange was interviewed for the documentary. I wonder if he was also interviewed at the Exploring Madness gigs or in London?

I One Chord Wonder who came up with it?

As for me I'm more of a "wreck that somehow surfaced."  ;D ;D ;D

Great to get an update on this!

As the blurb says, we are currently seeking completion funding but unfortunately, a fan-based whip-round seems unlikely to help as the rights bill alone runs into thousands of pounds.

This doesn't sound too good though...  :(
Fingers crossed it'll get sorted!
Just around the corner and miles away...
