As it's getting near the time to start making best of the year lists, I thought I'd get some practice in.
I've just re-filed all my CD's and this is a top 20 list of the number of CD's I have by each artist.
Scoring rules: 1 CD counts as 1, a double CD counts as 2, a shared CD counts as 0.5 per CD per artist (e.g. The Hunter Ronson Band Live the CD scores 0.5 each) and a CD single counts as 0.5.
Tj's CD's By Artist 24.11.02
1. Mike Peters 38 2. TV Smith 25.5 2. Sparks 25.5 4. T&N Finn 25 5. Ian Hunter 20 6. David Bowie 18 7. Ian Mcnabb 15 8. Buzzcocks 12 8. Generation X 12 10. Kiss 11 11. New Model Army 11 12. Mick Ronson 10 13. They Might Be Giants 9.5 14. The Clash 9 14. The Jam 9 14. Richard Strange 9 17. Steve Harley 8 17. Manic Street Preachers 8 19. Gene 6 19. Radiohead 6
Star Breaker Green Day 5
Which artist do you have the most CD's by :?:

Hey TJ,
Do you make lists in your sleep  Or is your job so boring you do this all day long
This is a serious mental disorder you have here my friend
I cant count the number of lists you've now put on this forum. To do that I'd have to make a list and I'm not falling into that trap mate
I'd rather go down the pub and make a list of all the beers as I drink them :!: I bet you already do that anyway
PUBGOBLIN
p.s. I NEVER KISSED HARLEY :!:

I would have to count my things to make such a list, but I'm too lazy right now (maybe over Christmas)... But I guess the most CD's I got are by The Damned (and related)! Next up should be The Cure. I have no idea who would be next, maybe The Stranglers? TV Smith as well. Neil Young might be in such a list too, although I don't listen to him very often in these days.
Sorry, but I have to throw up my breakfast whenever I see or hear Kiss! Don't know much about Steve H., but recently I watched a movie in which I heard a nice song and it was by him!!

I also got a lot of Neil Young CDs. But I also rarely listen to his stuff, nowadays. In my Top 4 probably would be: TV Smith, Big Country, Thin Lizzy, Bob Dylan

Now I'm not a big believer in lists BUT..... in my CD collection the most CD's are for the following:
1. 999 2. TV (incl. Cheap, Adverts, Explorers et al) 3. The Boys (incl. The Yobs) 4. The Dickies 5. Ramones 6. Snuff 7. Sisters of Mercy 8. The Clash 9. Buzzcocks 10. Wreckless Eric
Alan Highest new entry over the last year is probably the Eels
