Great gig in Manchester last night-andThe Dolls were excellent too. Big crowd in early to see them. They did an hour, some really good new ones too. Only complaint was they wasted 1 song by doing the appalling 'dance like a monkey'. Different band to Blackpool Ken Adams (bass) Jason Southern (drums) and Earl Slick(lead)-didn't he play on David Live? They went down really well and I was pleased to see Sylvain at the side of the sage filming a few of Alice's songs.
Alice was on top form too,as good as I've seen him and a couple of surprises (Clones and Halo of Flies). The 15 foot tall Frankenstein monser did look like something from It's a Knockout though. I could almost hear Stuart Hall pissing himself laughing as it stumbled around the stage.

Thanks very much for that DJ- I just missed the 1st couple of songs. That was a great show, filmed at London the night before I saw him. It's repeated on saturday I think at midnight. Arthur Brown features in the encore.

The Alice Cooper documentary being made by Sam Dunn reportedly has a name, Vincent Goes to Hell: An Alice Cooper Doc Opera. The film is receiving funds from Telefilm Canada and the Rogers Group of Funds (Dunn is Canadian).

Got my ticket for Newcastle in November-59! Ticket price shows as 45 but there's no avoiding getting totally ripped off. Alice is supporting Motley Crue which seemed odd to me as I know nothing about them.
