Been playing the new cd most of yesterday and today. Like the sleeve notes say, it really captures the energy and excitement of a live gig. What If and Eurodisneyland von Morgen are my faves at the moment.

the cd is really great.
the only thing i miss is the first track "get it now" and that the cover says nowhere, when
the concert took place.
but all in all, i love that cd.
my favourite track is "eurodisneyland von morgen", i never heard him before.
i saw it's with english lyrics on the we want the road cds; i'm really searching this cds  Roll Eyes

You can look up the date in "Archives" on the homepage, if you really need to know.
(I think it's not that important, as TV's sound is pretty "timeless".)

My faves currently from this CD: Driver or passenger, What if?, Clone Town...

I've heard the Get It Now from the gig, Stencil. There was a slight problem with the take so it was left off. Shame as it was that songs as it's a real live cracker normally. Cool

Live album review in new German "Ox-Fanzine", well written, but giving "only" 7 out of 10 points. Scandal.  Wink

Anyone checked English amazon for reviews? Any other web- or print-zines reviewing it?

Not a sausage on UK Amazon Uli.

Is this a bad time to say I've only played it once so I can't really review it yet? Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Lips Sealed

 Shocked

TV Smith has travelled from the Adverts through the Explorers gone Cheap and has finally settled largely on a solo path.

His studio albums have all been carefully crafted with his various long term collaborators but this live album captures the songs from his long career stripped to the bone as hammered out on his battered acoustic guitar.

The album fizzes with punk energy, and yet possibly is better filed as folk, whatever the definition it is a must for anyone who has been lucky enough to capture TV on his long continuous tour in the UK and increasingly around the world.

Highly recommended.

Wow! What a truly articulate and positive review. I'd just love to give who ever reviwed this a great big  Kiss
