Nice one, where did you find it?

Edit: ok, found it, it's Alan's review on amazon.co.uk! Cheers Alan!  Cool

This is the text from Boss Tuneage themselves:
Quote
Finally the wait is over! LIVE AT THE NVA is the first released live recording of TV SMITH’s legendary one man live shows, and what’s more, this double CD is available for the price of a single! The word legend is sometimes over used, but with TV SMITH it isn’t hyperbole – since making his mark with THE ADVERTS back in 1977, TV SMITH is one of the original punk powerhouses who has stayed true to his beliefs and continued to write and record to this day, alongside a 150+ date touring schedule each year. Recorded in Germany (with TV’s in-between song banter showing he is fluent in German!) LIVE AT THE NVA features over 100 minutes of TV SMITH playing his illustrious back catalogue, from ADVERTS classics through to tracks from last year’s highly acclaimed In The Arms Of My Enemy album

Excerpts from German reviews I found:
Quote

Einfach klasse eben. Ebenso: Diese Doppel-CD gibt es zum Niedrigpreis. Zwingend besorgen!
-Mathias Frank-

Excellent. Just been listening to TV Live again. There is nothing like TV Smith live to blow the cobwebs away. Cool

How lucky is TV Smith? Yesterday I heard a story that he'd been to every single live TV gig. Shocked

Lucky bugger! Cheesy

Does anyone fancy translating the German for me?

Me and Smit were saying we'd love to know what TV is saying.

The added bonus is it would really improve my German, too. Cheesy

But TV DID miss an Explorers gig...

Fred

True. Grin Grin Grin

I recently read that Gaye Advert was the only Advert to play every gig.

...Mind you she nearly missed the gig in the German film. Grin

I knew TV once had to play guitar but I don't recall reading he ever missed a gig.

That must mean TV is The Adverts. Illegal? Motive as spell?

Some german text on the CD?
After the weekend, when I was on my first 2 concerts of this tour and have bought the CD I'll give it a try.

Btw, does anyone else here come to Balingen or Schwäbisch Gmünd? I'll be there with my brother and maybe some more friends, but I always like to meet new people. If all works as planned, I'm the one with the not so small camera in the first row Wink

I started working on the translations now - listening to the live CD and writing down the text is a nice way to spend time in the train Wink

If I find some time and Internet in the Hotel this evening I'll start a new thread and post the first of the translations. But I don't know if it'll serve to improve your german - there are some very funny sentences on the CD. As I'm sure would be if I had to do the same in english Wink

Do you also want a translation of "Es stört mich nicht" or is there one already somewhere?

This month's 'Record Collector' magazine reviews the new live album very favourably and gives it 4 stars. I believe it's the same reviewer who also gave 'In The Arms Of My Enemy' a glowing report.
The review is not on-line but when I get a chance I'll 'scan' the review and post it. Wink
