Danke für Eure Infos!

Note: "Pushed Again" was not co-written by TV (apparently he read the lyrics to tell DTH they're okay).

dont Forget Pushed Again, TV played it today in Cologne for the first time

Die Toten Hosen is a German punk band from Düsseldorf. They have enjoyed decades-long mass appeal in Germany.

The band's name literally means "The Dead Pants" (i.e. trousers) in English, although the phrase "tote Hose" is a German expression meaning "nothing going on" or "boring". Their name is figuratively best translated as "The Deadbeats".

I didn't know that I always thought there name was a joke about a lack of action in the trousers department. ...Like the dead budgie that never falls out of its cage joke.

I notice that Wikepedia doesn't list TV Smith as the writer of Pushed Again.

I notice that Wikepedia doesn't list TV Smith as the writer of Pushed Again.

The credits on the CD single also do not list TV as co-writer. The reason for this is mentioned in Scheisserle's post further above:
Quote
DTH played the "unfinished" song with the working title "My Head" already in Argentina and Duesseldorf, before they got TV in to work a bit more on it. Trouble was they had already registered the song's copyrights.  :(
That's why TV does not get a credit for it. But he does get it for "Revenge" on the same single and all the other songs he worked on with DTH.  :)
This is what TV himself told me after the gig with Vom back in January.  8)
