The less said about the NME enemy response to The Adverts the better. They just didn't get it in 1976 and early '77!

Here's TV's view on their Unwelcome Guest like criticism from the TV Smith interview by Dave Thompson in TV Times 8 just after TV had said how "The Adverts were very dear to my heart

Dave went on to talk about the Klu Klux Klan burning Beatles albums for remarks like that. He then imagined hoards of Adverts fans burning their copies of Cast of Thousands.
