We can now reveal the full itinerary for the band’s spring UK ‘March On’ tour which covers 19 different venues in England, Scotland & Wales. The tour kicks off on the south coast at Brighton Dome 3rd March, hits the band’s spiritual home of Guildford on the 5th and stops off at the legendary Roundhouse on Friday 6th. Winding its way up the country, the tour makes return visits to Southend Cliffs Pavillion and Portsmouth Guildhall as well as crossing the Severn for a Cardiff gig at University Y Plas.  Traditional tour finale Manchester Academy is on the 21st. Finally, the tour heads over the border into Scotland, the band play at Kilmarnock Great Hall on 26th and Aberdeen Beach Ballroom on 27th before the tour climaxes at the O2 Academy in Glasgow on Saturday 28th.

I`ll be there in Manchester again as usual. They filmed the one at Manchester Academy this year for a "Ruby Aniversary " DVD but I believe the band did not think they were on their best form on the night so no release, personally I thought it was the best I`ve ever seen them.

it was a great gig, be a shame if they don't release it. the camera man in front of me did appear to be having 'issues' with his equipment tho. (on the barrier JJs side of the stage)

To commemorate the band’s 40th anniversary, a brand new live DVD filmed on the Ruby tour earlier this year is now available to pre-order from Townsend Music. It  includes footage from both the Paris Olympia show on the 7th of April and the Manchester Academy gig on 29th March which features Jet on drums. The band were on blistering form and the tracklisting is a mammoth, career-spanning 27 songs covering Hanging Around through to Freedom Is Insane. In addition, the DVD has bonus features of a special exclusive Ruby tour interview with all band members and the slideshow of fan submitted photos which featured on the Ruby backdrop frames during No More Heroes. The DVD comes in a ruby red case, is Region 0/NTSC compatible and will be despatching from Townsend Music from the 1st of December. on form in Leeds last night and mini uk summer tour and November European dates announced, no Jet but Jim played a blinder roll on rock city and another rendition of Dead Ringer and Down in the Sewer.
