Let's give the Con-Dem's (great name!) a chance. It works well elsewhere and its about time we had some grown-up politics in this country where polliticians actually have to have meaningful talks.

I truly hope you and Alan are right Fred, otherwise we are in for one heck of an interesting 5 years.
Just don't give me that comparison with the states though, I still can't see that at all.

God, I hope we're nothing like the States - they really do have a two party system. I hope it will be more like what already happens in a lot of European countries where parties working together is the norm.

It's interesting that I've spoken to three people about business £ economics this week and they all say things are picking up yet every time I watch bloody TV it says that we are heading for hell.
