Thanks for this. All of the recent publicity has been, rightly, upbeat but I didn't know that she was in a hospice and she looks far worse than any of the recent photos released.

Poly's obviously put on a large amount of weight due to the various cancer drugs she's on and that is to be expected.

I do hope she pulls through this. :(

I didn't know she was ill.

What a stupid interview though!  "so here you are in a hospice, why are you here!!!"  "cos I've got cancer!!!"

My thoughts exactly. And afterwards no 'We wish her all the best' or 'Here's to a speedy recovery' just...'And Now...Football'!

Bloody bleeding FOOTBALL!!!

Arse biscuits.

"Hi Everyone,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a Remix Competition for the track “No Rockefeller”, a firm fan’s favourite from the ‘Generation Indigo’ album.

The winning remix will be marketed and released digitally on Future Noise Music with all proceeds from the track going to The U.N. Refugee Agency  to help refugees and famine in Somalia.

Poly being half Somalian, this was felt to be a fitting cause, and one of which she would have approved.

Competition Rules

The competition will run through Poly’s Soundcloud account. All 17 individual stems for the track are available to download NOW via the following link :- http://soundcloud.com/polystyrene/sets/poly-styrene-no-rockefeller

Remixes can be in any genre and should be submitted via the Dropbox on the Poly Soundcloud page HERE
The entries will be listened to and judged by ‘Generation Indigo’ producer Youth, who will choose the winning remix.
The winners will see their mix marketed and released digitally worldwide on Future Noise Music and available to download from ALL good digital retail stores across the globe.
All our proceeds from sales of the remix will go to help famine and refugees in Somalia. More info can be found HERE

In addition, the winner will also receive a Special Bundle including the Deluxe CD, LP, pin badge, choice of T-shirt and a copy of the Limited Edition Red 10” Vinyl of ‘Virtual Boyfriend’ all presented in a Poly tote/shopper bag.

Closing Date for entries is Friday 30 September.

As a valued fan and subscriber to Poly news, here’s a private link to an exclusive free download of the Instrumental Version of ‘No Rockefeller’ to enjoy
http://soundcloud.com/polystyrene/no-rockefeller-instrumental/s-FZtV6

 Good luck Everyone!
