Colonel Gadaffi-murdered by a mob. And Cameron's proud of the part he played! I'm not saying he didn't deserve it though-just that he should have been executed.

I knew Gary fairly well through watching Wales at home & away.  He was always willing to chat, sign or have a photo taken.

Onw wonders what happended, he seemed ok on the tele on Saturday lunch-time and seemed buoyant over our fixtures for the next tournament.

I will admit to the quaffing of a few "Brains" yesterday afternoon.

Hwyl.

I feel for his children. It seems such a sefish act to deprive them of their father in such a way. He must have been really unhappy inside.

RIP Gary.

We also lost Ken Russell today and I was a big fan of his work.

RIP JACKIE LEVEN

I know I'm late but this one really hit me hard.

Saw this guy live over 20 times and there was no one like him.

I have all of his 20+ solo albums and each has incredible high points and a few astonishing low points!!

Saw his penultimate gig in Brighton in Aug 2011. I did not know of his illness and I was shocked when he walked past me and I hardly recognized him (he had lost about 6 stone).

His voice was not as full as usual and there were only a few bullish lines/jokes but one can understand that now.

Last thing he said to me was to compliment me on my Doll By Doll/Jackie Leven T shirt!!

At the interval he just went outside and stood in the cool air (he gave up his heavy drinling in Feb following the death of his brother). He seemed detached and reserved.

If you don't have any of his solo offerings you must obtain a few (can pick em up for about 4 on Amazon/E Bay).  His best tracks wereprobably - Call Mother A Lonely field, Larramuir Hills (absolutely joyful), Sexual Loneliness of Jesus Christ, I've Been Everywhere, Pourtown, Some Ancient misty morning,Classic Northern diversions to name a mere few.

Absolutely essential listening.

Great 5 page spread/tribute in UNCUT magazine this month.
