For me- What Am I Doin Hanging Round was the ultimate MONKEES track.

I always preferred them to the beatles.

Some absolutely classic tunes and timeless TV.

Robin Gibb today.
Sad to see that happen to anyone but the Bee Gees are, along with Queen and Meatloaf one of my most hated bands. I could never understand why people listened to that shit in 77 when Peel was playing the most exciting stuff you ever heard every night.

I know what you're saying about the 70's disco stuff, not my 'cup of tea' either, but I think some of the earlier mid-60's stuff was excellent.

John Millar, father of Chris Millar (a.k.a. Rat Scabies) has passed away.

After the 'Black Album' The Damned had no label or deal and John funded the 'Friday 13th' E.P. which led to getting the band a new label so they could record the fantastic 'Strawberries' LP.

I know at least one of you met John on Rat's 'Grail' trips and will be saddened at the loss.

Yes, I was/am sad about this loss.
I am glad we went on the trip last year (John & Joy organised many "Sauniere Society" meetings and travels), so we were able to hear John's stories. He was really nice to us and they looked after us so well. Really sad he's gone.  :'(

Ernest Borgnine. Actor. At the age of 95.

He was once asked the secret of his longevity and he replied ''I masturbate a lot''. :)
