I always enjoyed Kenny Ball when I was a kid - he used to often have the guest spot on variety-style shows which would liven things up. RIP

Boah, Fred comes back with a hammer... first I thought it's a joke, but it's true.

Double celebration- the return of Fred and the death of the wicked witch. Bouncy castle and jelly and ice cream at mine later.

It's sad that I feel glee at the news of a death. I shouldn't let her have ANY influence on me.

But as a direct victim of some specific policies she introduced I can't help it.

I'm sure they'll be whooping it up in Liverpool (and all points North) tonight.

It's perfectly understandable-although I actually think the cunts in powere now are even worse they'd never have got away with it if she hadn't come along first. Thatcher's evil legacy will never leave us- communities never recovered, unions powerless to stop workers being shit on because people have been conditioned into accepting less than they're worth and being grateful for it. The Apprentice shoud be retitled 'the bastard offspring of thatcher'.

A quote I've lifted from the Grauniad on-line tonight:

Quote
Personally, I've been whistling a certain song from The Wizard Of Oz all day. As to the State Funeral - who cares what they do? The people of South Wales have been organising parties that will last all week.
Down like a stick...

Wicked Witch or Iconic Leader? Hard to think of a time when the nation was as split.

Interestingly, I'd just been to see Oz The Great and Powerful with my Mum.

Personally I wish it was Third Term that kept Oz off the top spot.

Yes, if it takes the death of a vile tory for Fred to re-appear, let's hope it's not long before he's back again.

A dead Tory for every Fred post? Sounds fair.
