Very sad - have we now got to 'that age' where all around us childhood heroes snuff it?

Prince. Fair play to him for giving his album away free a few years back. Mind you I doubt if anyone would have paid for it. The over rated one was 57.

One of two lps I own by the Minneapolis Midget.

Yep. You sure wouldn't have paid for either. Good musician, bad music.

The legendary Muhammad Ali.

He may not have been the greatest boxer ever, but he was the most recognisable man on the planet in the 70's and invented the concept of sports people as celebrities in the modern sense.

I remember the excitement his fights generated when I was at Primary school - even amongst kids who didn't like boxing!

Janet Waldo.

Voice of, amongst many others, Judy Jetson (The Jetsons), Pearl Slaghoople (The Flintstones), Penelope Pitstop (Wacky Races) Morticia Addams (Addams Family cartoon), Hogatha (The Smurfs) and Mrs Tobbis (King Of The Hill).

One of those people you've never really heard of and then realise you've been listening to since you were about 3 years old.
