4. Norwich fans, even though they won 3v2 and never looked like losing are very critical of the team and don't really get behind them.

Are they Charlton in disguise? I've been to see them about six times (other than when we've been playing against them of course) with various Charlton supporting friends and, without fail, even though they've been a goal or two to the good, I've always heard murmurs around me along the lines of "...they'll equalise any minute now..." or "...this isn't over yet - don't count yer chickens..." And, I swear, this lack of confidence transmits itself to the players and they do concede the goals that the terrace doubters worry about!

They managed to go from winning 4-2 against us a couple of seasons ago, with home and man advantage when we went down to 10 and ended up clinging on to a 4-4 draw.

So...Norwich: the new Trainspotters  ::)

They are certainly glass half empty types and very similar to the Charlton Train Spotters.
Just been looking at the Millwall v Charlton game coming up. Think that will be my first visit to the Den this year. I do like a local derby.

Had a good day out at Northampton v Millwall on Saturday. Great game and atmosphere from both sets of fans.
Met up with 2 punk Millwall fans from Denmark who invited me to the Punk and Disorderly festival in Berlin with them next April. With return plane fare from Luton to Berlin of 65 I must say I'm tempted.

I've got 3 freebie tkts for Millwall v Bolton tomorrow. Sold some carpet to an ex Millwall player who's now coaching at The Den and got me the tickets as a 'thank you'.

So...me and a couple of mates off to watch a probable defeat but...it'll be a laugh anyway  :)

This weekend I've made a random purchase of a ticket for Burnley (Claret 999's team) v Everton.
Never been to Burnley before, so it's another ground I can tick off.
Hopefully Burnley is nice at this time of year.

Very good game, with a last gasp winner for the Clarets. Enjoyed my day trip very much. First time I've ever been to the town, some nice looking stone buildings and stunning countryside all around the town. So a great day all round.
It's Rochdale v Oldham next weekend for me - review to follow.

Was very pleased with that result !! you are quite right Class of 79 the town itself has been in decline for years now but you only have to walk no more than 2 miles in any direction from the town center and you are in beautiful countryside !

Rochdale v Oldham was a pretty run of the mill 1 v 0 game.
Coincidentally when I went to Northampton v Millwall I met up with a fellow punk fan from Copenhagen, who invited me to a punk festival in Berlin in April. It's the Punk and Disorderly festval which he's been to before and rates highly. I can get flights reasonably cheap. Anyone been to this festival before as I am considering it?
