If anyone has lost a statue recently, it may have turned up in Belfast as this one is clearly NOT of Bestie!

...and does Mo Salah really look so much like Maggie Thatcher?!

Very pleased for Fred that At. Mirren survived. I really must get to see a match there next season. Today I'll be cheering for Spurs. Anyone but Liverpool.

Thanks Gareth - I must go and see a match at The Simple Digital Arena too! I've had tickets for several matches, but was never able to go due to my health. Oh well, I'll get there one day...

The new stadium's name isn't as catchy as Love Street - or Doors-related. The old Saint Mirren fanzine was called "There's a store where the creatures meet..." which baffled anyone without a knowledge of Jim Morrison's lyrics!

Thought you'd be pleased. Just for Millwall fans, obviously. Absolutely no Schadenfreude here...

 ;)

All those doubles can't be good for you!  ;)

Seriously, we went for a meal in our local with some neighbours on Friday night. The pub wasn't even showing the game, but it was full of 'fans' (who would rather go to the pub than drive 15 minutes to the match!) talking about what they were going to do to Millwall. I think the pub sold out of Schadenfreude!

Talking of items selling out, the German language is absolutely brilliant for forming highly appropriate terms. My favourites today are Hamsterer and Hamsterkäufe as applied to those that hoard toilet paper and cans of beans/the act of over-purchasing toilet paper and cans of beans in the face of the Corona virus.

Surely if they didn't eat all that roughage they wouldn't need so much bog roll?!
