While there were no new scenes filmed, Bowie makes an appearance in "Twin Peaks - The Return" (it is in a scene from the movie "Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me", which FBI director Cole reminisces about in the new series)...

Quote
Main Man Records this spring will release Hero: A Tribute to David Bowie, an ultra-limited white-vinyl LP — the label says just 300 copies are being pressed — that features The Alarm and members of Blondie, Sex Pistols, The Damned, Heaven 17 and more honoring the Thin White Duke.

The album, due out April 15, features The Alarm covering “The Jean Genie,” plus Slinky Vagabond — featuring former Bowie sideman Earl Slick, the Pistols’ Glen Matlock, Blondie’s Clem Burke and singer Keanan Duffty — performing “Boys Keep Swinging.”

Also on the set: Holy Holy, the Bowie tribute band featuring Spiders from Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey and producer Tony Visconti, covering “Running Gun Blues” with Heaven 17’s Glenn Gregory and Spandau Ballet’s Steve Norman. Plus, The Damned’s Rat Scabies and Josh Freese of The Vandals and Devo also appear on other tracks.

Pre-order the LP directly from Main Man Records — and check out the full tracklist below.
