Will be an interesting watch. I'm amazed nobody was suspicious of him being a perv even before people came forward.

Blackburn got what he had coming. When Radio 1 started in 1967, I sent him a record request - 'Michelle' by The Overlanders - and he didn't read it out.

Nearly 50 years I've waited for my revenge... ;)

Whilst I agree that he is a horrible, slimy, totally annoying twat, I also always suspected that he was far too much of a 'goody-goody'. His, alleged, 'dark-side' comes as no surprise to me I'm afraid.

Looks like they're now going to spend a load of time and money investigating Ted Heath.

...and after two years they have decided that if he was still alive he would have been questioned:

Time and money well spent?

I feel that it had to be done. Even though the Tory twit has long passed on, the investigation had to be carried out in the name of any possible victims. Also, just in case any other perps, living or dead, were uncovered during the course of the enquiries.

Too important to be filed under 'Maybe...' and then possibly forgotten, I reckon.

Just a quick thought - I know that people may want closure/compensation, etc., but shouldn't stopping living abusers take priority?

I agree - that's the other half of my quote from two year's ago.

What I meant is that I hoped that they would have interviewed him automatically - never mind spending over two years debating it! Hopefully, they have turned up slightly more useful information than just the headline conclusion...
