Never seen the words 'carshalton' and 'sunny' knowingly included in the same sentence before, Fleags!  Wink

Ah well...I'll have to dance then on my oh-own... Smiley

Wish I could join you on the dance floor (mind you being the 12 Bar that would fill it!) As it's a great line up.... Have fun!

I was there several times - mostly it was nice weather to my own surprise!  Cheesy
Trouble is: September is unlikely for me to make it.   Cry

Unlikely for me too. I'm probably going to be at the other end of the country. But it's not definite so there's always the possibility I'll make it.

Fingers crossed then that if whatever you're doing in the North (or the far South) goes tits-up, I'll see you there then Ken Smiley

Oh I hope it doesn't go tits-up. Grin

Got the dates wrong it's 29th August I'm 'Up North' not 29th September.

But I'll be at the London Punk Festival which is 28/29/30 September and it depends what bands are playing what days.

Had a great 2-gig night tonight Smiley

Saw The Phobics at the New Cross Inn (supporting The Outcasts) then a quick drive into town to see TV.

Got there just in time to say hello to Tim and Gaye, then took my place at the front.

Set as follows:

Only One Flavour
No Time To Be 21
Coming In To Land
We Who Wait
The Future Used To Be Better
Lion & The Lamb
Expensive Being Poor
Immortal Rich
Cutbacks
Complaints Dept
Great British Mistake
New Church
Lord's Prayer
Dangerous Playground
My String Will Break
You Saved My Life...
Television's Over
Generation Why
In The Arms Of My Enemy
Gilmour...
Bored...
(My notes suddenly say '...Ooh look - there's Pauline Murray!!!') Embarrassed
One Chord Wonders
(encore)
Maybe The Good Times...

A good-ish crowd - enthusiastic and very vocal.

And I met Pauline Murray!

Nice woman Smiley

Bed time...

Just wish there were more TUTS to share it with me on the night, Fred.

Tim was on great form as ever and I think he would have swayed any TV gig-virgins to come along again.

My enthusiam for last night has already swayed a mate in York to go along to Tim's gig up there next month  Smiley
