TV Smith acoustic session on 'Retro Man' podcast - out now
« Reply #2 on: June 15, 2012, 01:02:06 PM »
Thanks for spotting that! The TV Smith special edition of Retrosonic Podcast is out now - here's the link:
http://soundcloud.com/retrosonic-podcast/retrosonic-podcast-episode-3

It's an hour long chat with TV and a four song acoustic session featuring one classic Adverts, one classic solo and two (soon to be classics...) from his latest album "Coming Into Land".

We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!

We're also involved in promoting a gig for TV at The Railway in Southend on Sea on June 22nd. TV is joined on the bill by Dick York from Cryssis, Andy J Gallagher with special guest Roman Jugg (from The Damned and Naz Nomad). Should be a great night.

You can check more info on the gig along with other TV and Gaye related stuff on the Retro Man Blog.

Cheers, Steve

TV Smith, the legendary voice of The Adverts and hugely respected solo performer, joins us (Steve from Retro Man Blog, Rock photographer Paul Slattery and Adam from The Jetsonics) in the Pod to discuss his influential career and play an exclusive four song acoustic session.
From early gigs on the edge of Dartmoor with Sleaze to playing the Roxy with The Adverts at the very beginning of the Punk Rock explosion, TV brings us right up to date to the release of his latest album “Coming Into Land” and the publication of his excellent “Punk Rock Tour Diaries”, which cover his adventures as a travelling solo performer armed only with a guitar, a suitcase and an emergency sandwich.
For more information on our TV Smith gig at The Railway in Southend on June 22nd please visit www.retromanblog.com and for other tour dates, merchandise and news check out TV Smith’s excellent web-site www.tvsmith.com

Coming In To Land is for me THE best album.

...Someone knows what he's talking about.

Glad Teev agrees.  :D

You've got a fantastic website which is really great for fans.

Retro Man Podcast Interview

Klaus take a bow.

If there was one bit of my own We Who Wait interview with Jamie that made the final cut it was the bit about how Klaus's website had such an impact on TV's career and how it led to the formation of the TUTS fan club.
