"Get it now"
I'll get mine next time I see him.

He signed the other two for me and, although it's not really that important either to me personally nor in the big scheme of thangs, it would be nice to get a hat-trick of signed copies  :)

I think I might go for that option as well. (If he does not carry the books with him, I'll order. No hurry for me anyway, as I've got some other books to read first.)

"The kitchen's full of murderous smells."

There's no doubt that being a fan of TV helped me to stop eating meat six years ago (for a variety of reasons).

As we read in his other tour diaries not eating meet abroad is often quite a tricky principle to follow.

I once asked Teen why he'd not written that many lines in his songs (bar the one above) about this subject. Teev explained how he'd rather show peaople how TV's eating choice had boosted his energy via his energized performance than preach about it with words.

You may recall my preaching about this subject six years ago. After listening to TV I shut up preaching.I found it was having thge opposite effect on people to tge one I desired. People are free to make their own choices.

Good to see the emergency sandwich on the cover though. :D

Please can you bring me a copy to Doncaster next month Teev. :D

Tim read parts of this diary  at Blackpool on the spoken word stage .... interesting indeed... a very shocking story
( in more ways than one )   as well as the usual very funny parts too...

a glorious diary to own , yet again ...

TJ - your right , preaching doesnt help anyone ... it does tend to put people off, and watching TV on stage
give 110% like that is testimont to his lifestyle.  I think Tims full on energy on stage proves his diet gives
him all the energy he needs and more ... he shows us at each performance .

off to play some TVSmith now...
Bloody hell !

I'm looking forward to read it (no hurry though, as there'll be enough autumn/winter days to spend reading).

I've always enjoyed the energy he oozes on stage.
However e.g. Bruce Springsteen is said to play like 3-4 hour shows and I've never wondered about his diet...

Excellent tales of a "man on the road".

It does make you think of all the "trials & tribulations" that go on to make a show possible for us fans.

Good to see tales of travelling by train throughout Europe, perhaps next time the actual loco numbers could be indicated!!!!!

Springsteen  - -  is he still alive Uli ?     3 - 4 hours shows  JEEZ i couldnt handle that
no way.  each to their own tho.

Ive often wondered how Tim manages to keep his energy levels so high , diet is
obviously so important. the work Tim done at Rebelion this year was outstanding..
non stop all day long, plus playing shows, he never seemed tired .. mind you we done
much the same with the help of Jack daniels and red stripe.  8)

Not the diet I'd recommend for longer tours!  ;D
TV seems to drink a beer or three during his gigs though...
And he obviously has an emergency sandwich with him.  8)
