How Can Tj Make Southwick
« Reply #30 on: March 26, 2002, 01:49:12 PM »
Thanks Hobgoblin.

Going by TV's email and your email I need to get a move on in ordering the tickets. :(  That means asking Lisa if I can go away for the   weekend. Anyone got any good 's - I haven't a clue how to pull this one off.

I'm sure  8O  it will go down well

I asked my best mate Smit yesterday whilst I was out DRAY Riding. He's also up for it. The List grows...

What is the bit about 1 and 2 on the Soutwick 2 section entry Klaus? :?

Hi TJ,

the topic just gets split up into pages with 15 messages on each of them.
So you don't have to scroll through loads of messages if a topic gets
really big. (Like this one)

Hi TJ & Klaus,

Hey TJ the answer's obvious TAKE YOUR WOMAN WITH YOU  :!:

Make a weekend of it ,sweet talking her into coming with you,tie her up and kidnap her,say your mothers ill, your mistress is ill, your ill,it's necessary for world peace, your cats just died,Freddy Starr ate your Hamster,TV needs a roadie, the tides coming in,save the rainforest, save the whales, save coupons,Klaus for President, you caught your trousersnake in a revolving door,etc,etc,etc.... 8O

Come one, someone with as much imagination as you can come up with a plausable reason for the best summer weekend this year

Cat and Mistress?
« Reply #34 on: March 26, 2002, 03:37:49 PM »
Hi Hobgoblin,

But I don't have a cat (I have a Lakeland Terrior Puppy called Shady - Dark Shadow) and I Don't have a mistress :?

Seriously, I wined her and dined Lisa this lunchtime and she definately doesn't fancy the trip. She doesn't quite agree with you that it will be the thrill of a lifetime. 8O

However, she didn't say that I couldn't go  8O - so fingers crossed :)

Incredible news to find out today that my two favourite singer/songwriters - TV Smith and Richard Strange - will both be performing at the same venue during the summer - and that the venue is a beer festival!

How good can it get!

Smit and I will see you there TJ!

Hi PK and TJ,

I will take my girlfriend with me, if she can spare that weekend.
TJ, you can tell your woman, that all the other women are coming as well, and she won't be alone.

I hope, the TV-gig on the day before Southwick can be organized.
40 minutes are a little short for a trip over to your island.
Would be fantastic to meet the T.U.T.S community, of course.

Hi Klaus, Hobgoblin, H, Smit and c5,

Look guys  my wife is her own woman and this woman aint going:((I know Lisa.)

Great to get confirmation from two of the worlds greatest combined TV Smith and Richard Strange fans ever - welcome on board Henry and Smit.  :P :D :)

Good new Klaus; TV says he now has an hour slot (50% longer than 40 minutes.) :D

Any news on the TUTS Convention TV :?:

Jock doesn't think he can make it. I seem to remember that Fred was up for it, but, he's been away for a while. Does anyone know if Alan has responded yet :?:

Hi Klaus,

Can you put (TV UK Tour Society) after The Official T.U.T.S. .... on the section heading. :)

My mate H missed the thread because he didn't know what a TUTS was. :?

Chears mate.

... but I wondered if a few people were monopolising the forum as previously suggested. Also, as previously suggested, I thought more people might post if some of us laid off for a while....doesn't seem to have worked!

Still a great forum/site/etc.

Hope to get to Southwick....

Hi TJ,

Know what you mean my "Moose" at home has absolutely no interest in music at all. However I can go and see whatever I what whenever I want,so she's brilliant for that  :)

Sorry Jock can't make but it's a hell of a long way for him to come.
Alan has only posted on the site twice and has'nt mentioned Southwick at all.  :(

Hey Alan  :!:  if you're out there let us know what your doing.

Come on Fred - you've got to be joking. That will never happen.

It's a good idea about not logging on for a few days. :)

I can see two problems though :(

1. I'm too addicted at the moment and the cold turkey will hit me too hard
2. I'm not sure that it will start other people posting. :?

I think a comprimise is best. Maybe people like Klaus, Hobgoblin (PK) and me can chat to our hearts content on sections like Southwick and leave the others to have thier shorter less gabby postings like on the old forum. What do you think TVers :?:

Right - you're trying to tell me that your partner is possibly one day going to be called Moose Hobgoblin.

I'll copy that last posting to another header.

I should practice what I preach and keep the topics in this section a bit more related to southwick.
