One of the best songwriters, arguably even the greatest, who came out of punk rock is TV Smith. Best known for his work in The Adverts who only lasted three years, since then he has had a prolific solo career and now treads the boards as a wandering minstrel with his acoustic guitar. His solo work is still of an incredibly high standard with shrewd observations of modern life and our place within it. He notches up well over 100 gigs a year and has hard-earned loyal following across the globe. This portrait was shot on 10/5/13 and was my second shoot with him and was best one due to better light and it not raining. It was taken in Wakefield.
