Thatís actually a Stranglers album, so itís about time that it was written in red (or black and white if you prefer) by not just ten, but all suite XVI of us that there are no more heroes to see off stranglers in the night. Thatís a bit scary during our dreamtime as we might have nightmares about giants or even Edgar Allan Poeís ďThe RavenĒ administering us a Coup de Grace! Anyway, Iím heading off to the Norfolk Coast for a few days whilst my feline sees off an infestation of Rattus norvegicus Ė and thatís gospel (according to the men in black). Anyway, I wish Iíd never started this as its just madness, or la folie, as the French might say Ė I mean, how the hell am I going to squeeze an Aural Sculpture in?!

Oh that's nothing - I can do all The Adverts albums!

I was crossing the Red Sea with The Adverts the other day and we saw a movie being filmed with a cast of thousands.

Bet you couldn't do that for the Alarm Fred. or could you? (I wouldn't know if you did anyway). I remember a merry drive to Sheffield Leadmill ,where we linked loads of Stranglers tracks, simple pleasures! when did your Mike Peters aversion get so serious? I have seen him at least 3 times with you?!
Black and White in Yarmouth Alan top gig! that and The Damned at the stars and Garters and The Jam at the ABC I think, etched on me memory happy days on the Norfolk Coast.

I WOULDN'T do it for Th* *l*rm as I don't know any of their album titles and I want to keep that proud record!

Yes, that's a great game for burning up time - be it 5 minutes or all day and all of the night -  as you drive between English towns as there ain't nothing to it, etc., etc., etc. (Enough already!)

Sunday 6th Feb 1983, Glasgow Apollo, supporting SLF at their "farewell" show. Three times? If only! As he/Th* *l*rm have played so many times with Spear/Kirk, I've had to sit through sooooooooooooo many sets... At least I only saw half of the stage the time he tried to blind me!

The only gig I ever saw in Great Yarmouth was by a band featuring members of Splodge and The Crabs. I've only just remembered as:
