Over the next couple of weeks we are modifying one of our websites that has been sitting redundant for a while to accommodate info and listings for any anti-war/peace events that are planned or being planned. Any info regarding actions or organisations are welcome. Send us info, documents, images, articles, tunez, whatever you see fit and we shall attempt to get it on line as rapidly as possible. There is no set structure as of yet to the content of the new site and all suggestions would be appreciated. The faster we receive information the faster the new site will develop so DO NOT HESITATE in contacting us so as we can make this project a successful one. Spread the word amongst anyone you know that is involved in events and urge them to send us info IMMEDIATELY.

Looks a bit like some kind of love parade to me.
If it's against war, it's probably good to support this.
But don't expect me to show up on any party, as the music makes me sick. :?  :wink:

Thanks for your suggestions they were extremely helpful and shall be taken into consideration. You are perfecly correct in your assumption of the LOVE content of the message. Now maybe you should go back and read it again so you fully understand what the post is saying and then visit - - x-rated - - for fully self satisfied assuredness.

Er, sorry Mrs Fleagle you seem to have got in there before me. My last post was directed at Klaus. However, the Love parade is a highly commercial dance event that takes place in Berlin once a year and has absolutely no similarity to the type of events we organise. Klaus is attempting to use this reference in a derogatory manner which is a little innapropriate with regard to the content of the posting to say the least. He obviously is the kind of person who cannot see good in anything outside his own narrow view of the world.
As for the radio, some people do find it difficult to connect if they have narrow bandwidth. It is supposed to be permanently streaming but can occasionally go down as we serve it ourselves due to the political nature of some of the content.

Oops, your absolutely correct I hope the moderator does remove it. I actually just made that link up as a joke and didn't realise that it would actually lead anywhere and wouldn't have posted it otherwise.

Maybe it would be a good idea to remove all of these postings and I shall post the original message again.

@Mrs. Fleagle:

Love Parade is held every year in Berlin.
Lots of people (and I mean lots of people) listening
to techno-music the whole day and claiming that they are
on a political demonstration for love in order to avoid the costs
for cleaning up the mess they usually leave behind.

@Fog:
I didn't want to doubt you good intentions you definitely have.
I just saw a few techno references on the site and thought about doing
a little joke about my attitude towards techno-music.

I just took a look at the radio station's page and I can see, that you are playing all kinds of music on it.

Subject has been re-posted!
Klaus, I agree about the pseudo-political intentions of the Love parade. However, the underground techno-trance scene in the UK is absolutely nothing like that I can assure you. There are a lot of people involved in direct action from the UK scene and has a high percentage of people (such as myself) who left the punk scene behind when it became negative and went in search of a more effective means of spreading the philosophy. In Germany you do not have a Criminal Justice Act to contend with every time you put on an event.
For more info look at: (this link is safe)
http://www.urban75.org/legal/cja.html
Without appearing to be insulting or negative in anyway, one of the problems that continually occur with forum's is that they generally are dominated by a small group of insiders or friends and usually have an internal click going on. Whenever someone appears there "uninvited" disruption can occur if they do not conform to the groups idea of themselves and their social values and can be seen as threatening. It is not my intention to disturb anyones peace and the only place on this forum that you are likely to come across posts by me is under the topic of Politics, War etc. It is hardly likely that this subject area would be dominated by roll-over false politician's smiles is it? I am on TV Smith's website aren't I?
As for insults... It's always a good way to illicit response I am sure you will agree! I apologise for being sick of listening to people trying to make light of what are extremely serious issues. Already we are taken away from the original subject which was in fact that WAR is impending and every possible means of averting it has to be exploited.

And finally...
I intend to mirror TV's track on the website when it is re-constructed and shall be mailing him about that soon.
Ta and see ya here again soon. (If I'm not barred)

Fog,

I can assure you and all the TUTS on this forum will agree, that everyone is welcome on this forum. Actually we are very happy if someone comes to this place with a different background and brings a fresh breeze in here.

Sorry, but naming a website 'party for peace' doesn't look death-serious to me. Party has nothing to do with averting a war. Politicians will laugh when they hear that slogan and probably won't take that too serious, I am afraid.

Fog,

I think a did a very very bad translation error today.
You know I am German and I guess I translated 'Party For Peace' absolutely embarrassing wrong. :oops:

I though of partying when I read party. And that's why I brought the love parade into this thread.

I won't delete this thread unless someone demands this, as this should teach me to check my translations twice next time.

Sorry, Fog

Klaus

PS: I knew, this would end up a bad day for me, when I got up this morning.
