thanks .i do get a bit deep at times but,i cant agree with the above your qoute calm down thousands of people are about to be slaughtered for no faulot of thier own this war will tip the world closer to armageddon.that really is a few good reasons to be calm isnt it?i know ill join the silent violent magority and sit on my arse and watch tv when the whole world declines,then moan like fuck when its all too late,sounds like a good idea to me klaus.

It may be a little hard to understand Uli but in a few days time our country "Britain" will be at War.
Most of our people here do not want this but they are still going to do it in our name. :evil:
Your country will play no part in this obscene act (lucky you) but some of us here feel it deeply and that frustration does show in our posts sometimes.

Its human nature to concentrate on the problems that are closer to you personally so problems like the Aids epidemic in Africa are too huge to grasp or help with . Its also human to be reactive rather than pro-active so hence the large number of topics from UK members on this subject are focusing on the reaction to our goverments policies.

Markus is speaking for a lot of us even if his language is more bitter & angry. He's not saying anything we ar'nt already thinking  :evil:  
I believe he should express any opinion he likes here as long as it doesnt get personal.

If we could just get our goverment to stop the War then maybe we could get them to focus on helping solve other more important problems in the world. You've got to start somewhere and stoping the war is bringing a lot of groups together in this country and also worldwide.  

I still live in hope because to despair is to give victory to evil in this world.

I know, PK, you're absolutely right about Britain. I can understand Markus and others are angry.
But like I pointed out in another thread: if you get too depressed about this you'd have to depressed every single day of your life, because there's lots of wars going on (our countries do often have a part in them with money or weapons)... And I think it's not the point to be depressed or angry all of the time! That's what I meant.  :|
