Windows 10
« on: May 21, 2016, 03:01:59 PM »
So I finally gave in and agreed to install/upgrade to "Windows 10" (well it was for free). What a wasted 2 hours that was, I returned to Windows 7 very quickly after checking a few of the features (nice they were, but I wouldn't ever really need them) and missing a few things...  ::)

Those pop-ups are SO annoying! I won't be switching!

If you have automatic Windows Updates they keep trying to install 'back doors' for the upgrade which is what why you get those 'pop ups'.

The particular updates are listed on several sites online and if you delete those updates from your hard drive you hear nothing more about Windows 10.

I don't want it.

However, when you buy a NEW computer you'll probably not get the choice.
It'll come a standard.

So, in a year or two, we'll all have no choice.

Have surrendered to the 10.

Got it at work too.

So far, so-so.

Yeah, I know, thus I hope my computer will last for a good ol' while...  ::)
