next stop ..next project: Joshua Tree ...Rancho De La Luna ...for Mutants next adventure ..album
Seriously, though, who could even attempt to top a first album so packed with guest appearances that the credit list read like a veritable who's-who of rock, punk 'n' roll hall of famers? Wayne Kramer, Wilko Johnson, Charlie Harper, Texas Terri Bomb, Beki Bondage, TV Smith, Neville Staple and more appeared alongside Chris Constantinou (Adam Ant, The Wolfmen, Sinead O'Connor) and Paul Frazer (Black Futures, The Prodigy) on an album that was, at times, so hard to comprehend given the constant stream of talent, song after song. Now, the next album of a promised ongoing series, 'Tokyo Nights', amps up the cult factor even further as Constantinou and Frazer, joined by The Damned's Rat Scabies and Steve 'West' Weston (Wilko Johnson, Roger Daltrey), have teamed up with the coolest talents in the world of Japanese garage to concoct a twelve-track collection that is so achingly-cool I am constantly shifting in my seat as I both listen and type.
Chris Constantinou (The Wolfmen, Sinead O’Connor, Adam Ant) and Paul Frazer (Black Futures, The Prodigy) have joined forces with Rat Scabies (The Damned) and Steve ‘West’ Weston (Wilko Johnson, Roger Daltrey) to form a band built on adventure. Then they’ve only gone and teamed up with the biggest and best names in Japanese garage, surf and rockabilly.
Next week we (CC, Paul & Rat) start writing and recording backing tracks in Wandsworth at Sugar Cane Studios (what used to be Raezor Studio) for The Mutants 'Desert Album' sessions in Nov/Dec this year in Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree, California.

Last time I played in Santa Cruz was with Adam Ant.
